At least when buying from lethal, you can do an addon to stainless for GESI 450 cats, bringing them to 2300 total. So still almost 1000 cheaper. A few weeks ago they were on sale for like 2000 flat.
Have you seen the price of their non-catted connection pipes if you buy them after the fact? Sorry, but $800 for a short non-catted pipe? Insane. Stainless selling the same 2 foot of pipe for $400.
Most aren't going to be running a radial up front, especially if you do any kind of driving off the track.
Me personally, I'd move to something a bit closer in wear and traction just so there's not quite the imbalance probably in the 350 range and below. Like a PS4S, Indy firehawk, etc just as...
Well, good news! The belt legitimately did it. Not sure if it being a new belt was keeping the belt shreds from occurring or what, but changed the tensioner down to it's tightest spot and she's hitting boost in the 2,000s now almost immediately. I do have on occasion where I'll hit it at 2,000...
@engineermike You know what. I took a look at this morning's log again. And I was wrong. If you look at the SECOND pull on that log, which I forgot I even did, I started lower in the RPM range. 2100 was the hit, versus the first which was like 3200 start (and a weird 40 pedal then 100).
And the...
Thanks for all the help! The logging bit helped a shit load, as I was going nuts not having access to it. The load correlation also really helped me!
One thing I'll say after tightening, it definitely didn't fix the low rpm boost issue. It's still not really getting into boost until ~4,000 rpm...
1. I do want to do another check of 1st now that I tightened the belt. Working so will need to wait on that for the time being. But 1st gear feels like a dog, so that seems to correlate. There's almost a solid 1.1-1.3 seconds in the first gear build just from launch to getting back to the 3500...
One thing I will note, is I changed up my pullies this morning. I had it on the looser pulley position on the boomerang. I couldn't tell old vs new belt material. So cleaned it all off this morning, and moved the pulley down to the tighter tension setting. (So it MAY have been belt slip). When I...
Not going to lie and say I know what to look for fueling wise lol. I know enough from previous coyote logging to watch your typical knock etc. But couldn't tell you what to look for fueling wise honestly. But it does look like a LOT of 1.2+
I see 7~ lbs of boost in second gear. 2 lbs of boost in first gear.
And I definitely agree. But definitely explains why it feels like a stock coyote pulling in first, it basically is :giggle:
The thing that really makes me scratch my head (And my experience with PD comes from my ZL1, not...
So apparently the way to get the logs out for mine was just continually failing on the device but I did manage to snag one from this morning! @engineermike
I get it, you already said that before, not sure why you're coming at me for it. Was just looking for tips and places to dig into it. I didn't do any of the work, I didn't even own the car when it was installed. The tune was purely to finally get it into a tune that I knew, as I had no idea what...
I checked out the bypass. There's not really a way for it to kink on the odin. It's like 2 inches of vacuum line, that is taken from the TB right next to the valve. And from my understanding, if it did fail (it does still operate. I've watched it do so while wife hits the throttle), it would...
Alright, so we're back at squarish one. Test and tune went pretty badly. I did end up trapping faster (122) but still couldn't break out of the 12s. It is absolutely just dying when getting launched (boost seems to agree)
So my boost gauge FINALLY showed up and got it installed. Definitely have...
