  1. 2.3 EcoBoost vs. GT from Value POV

Slightly disagree. The v8 feels just fine driving around to me, especially in the 2018+ cars. Never felt like I had to give it any more throttle to do simple manuevers than I do in my ecoboost.
  2. 2.3 EcoBoost vs. GT from Value POV

Unless your investment involves a tune on e30 or e85 you aren't hanging with a stock 2018+ GT. This whole conversation honesty is a tad pointless. The ecoboost is there yes. Good cars no doubt, mine has been a good experience. But I only got it because I could not afford a GT. That's literally...
  3. Cobb Accessport v3 question

Now that you've cleared that up I get what you mean. Unfortunately no your chances aren't any less. If it's going to happen it'll happen regardless. Just an unfortunate truth.
  4. Cobb Accessport v3 question

Your warranty will be voided the moment you install the cobb on the car in most dealers eyes my friend.
  5. Precision-Turbonetics NX2 turbo EcoBoost build thread

A port injection fuel kit would be the best way to go. Not only do you get to run e85 and make the most of the turbo, you also get the added benefit if it helps keep your valve's cleaner as well.
  6. 2.3 EcoBoost vs. GT from Value POV

It truly depends on how you look at it. If you were someone not interested in modding either model, but wanted the most performance possible the GT would make more sense. Especially in the 2018 models where the GT is really just that much better all around performance wise, at least in my...
  7. Tune plus built engines

Sweet several local guys in here. I'm in Spring.
  8. 2018 Ecoboost Cobb Accessport

Neat stuff. I just use a website called datazap.me and get an easy to read data file like below. For an extreme novice such as myself, and likely most consumers this may be easier to read and see what is going on for the most part.
  9. Purple Drank (PD) Tuning

Personally between Adam and Ryan there is not a wrong choice. They tune the most cars right now from what I've seen on the facebook groups. I myself have been running a 93 octane tune from Adam for the past 2 years and clocked over 40k miles on the car, and drive it daily with 100% reliability...
  10. Precision-Turbonetics NX2 turbo EcoBoost build thread

Yeah. I always found that interesting that they cast the 2 blocks so differently.
  11. Tune plus built engines

In all honesty the facebook groups are a far better source of information on builds than on here. There are several built motors out there from Adan/Tune+. And a few at or north of 600whp. Haven't heard of any issues so far since they switched to the 2.0 blocks.
  12. 2018 Ecoboost Cobb Accessport

Drop down to Stage 1. Stage 2 and 3 is only effective from what I understand if you have Cobb parts installed. I tried running cobb stage 2 on my 16 EB and the car felt like a dog compared to stage 1 and even stock.
  13. Precision-Turbonetics NX2 turbo EcoBoost build thread

Your statement is misleading. 400whp is about the cutoff most go with for a STOCK motor. A 2.3 block can handle more than that if the bottom end is built. Not as much as a 2.0 block obviously.
  14. best hp/tq numbers to the wheels

On FULL e85 with a port injection kit seeing 370-380whp and around 420-430ftlbs of torque is nothing unusual at all. i've seen some cars make 400whp, but that's really pushing the stock turbo hard.
  15. Precision-Turbonetics NX2 turbo EcoBoost build thread

Sorry to say but your race really won't tell much of anything other than who the better driver is since you are doing a standing start. We will agree to disagree on this subject is all.
  16. Precision-Turbonetics NX2 turbo EcoBoost build thread

No offense taken. For what you want out of the car no the downpipe I would agree is not at all needed. You just seem to be stating that the downpipe offers no benefit at all power wise when it in fact does on this turbo, and any other turbo upgrade, and that has been stated and shown by various...
  17. Precision-Turbonetics NX2 turbo EcoBoost build thread

I will say this, and you can ask adam as well. That turbo would benefit nicely from an aftermarket downpipe. I would bet easily another 30-40whp over what you would make with the stock downpipe at the same boost/timing levels because the car is breathing better.
  18. Precision-Turbonetics NX2 turbo EcoBoost build thread

Ok so 2 questions. Are you on a built motor? And secondly, are you currently tuning on pump 93 or e30/85?
  19. Unleashed Tune blew my ecoboost mustang up

I've read through this. And frankly there's nothing factual to support that it is the tuners fault. Not to mention you are taking the word of a ford tech who is obviously clueless based on your posts about them. In all honesty the thread title should be changed until it is a proven fact that it...
  20. OTS v custom tune; your impressions

That is a very odd reading. -1.00 is 100% ideal of what you want your OAR to be. I've never actually heard of OAR going above that. Usually if it is below that is what usually is a bad tank. Sunoco for me is a no no when it comes to 93, as most local stations have the worst quality 93 fuel...
