Let me start again.... I have a solid metal/acrylic Queensland prestige 'A' plate that is quite heavy (about 300grams), doesn't work with the Craigs bracket (too heavy), needs a lot of rework for the Lakin system, and doesn't bend to flex around the front bumper. It will need spacing leaving...
The Craigs bracket is not compatible with the Qld prestige plate which weighs about 300 grams.(quite heavy).
So I am looking for a well mounted (holes in bumper unfortunately) solution.
Looks like I pick up my GT tomorrow. I need to mount these prestige plates. Can someone please post a photo of the plate holders and the screws included with it - can I use them for my prestige plates? I understand that I need good plastic cutting thread screws.
It seems there may be no one in this forum that had a Mustang recently delivered to Brisbane aboard the Tarago? No one to share my local excitement, anyway....
Update; Does this mean what I think it means?! Delivered to my dealer yesterday...
My car is listed as here:

My car is on Tarago, and it left Auckland for Brisbane this evening, arriving 2am Wednesday, 17th August. The last leg of the sea voyage for my beast. Like others have said, the closer it gets the more difficult the waiting becomes. Must stay busy and distracted.
When I ordered I was told 12-18 months - which I accepted. I expected nothing more. If you really want the car, you will accept the wait. The ironic thing is, I ordered in February 2016, and will have the car this September! Ironic, because I told my salesman that if it arrives before...
Thanks guys for your comments so far. Love to see some of the photos of these Lakin plates mounted. Remember - My problem is mounting a metal framed Prestige Slimline plate on the front.
Hi All,
I am sure this has been sorted already, but I want to be specific about my issue.
I have a PPQ Prestige slimline plate that weighs a lot (metal framed with acrylic front). I am looking for a front mounting solution that is strong and with minimal front bumper damage. I have seriously...
