This video helped me a lot (one thing I'll note that the video doesn't explicitly show is hiding the wire to the back camera, was a bit of a pain compared to the front camera). I'll post some pictures of my personal results when I can.
Of course you don't need to hardwire it if you aren't...
I voted that I don't drive any different. However I will say that after having watched a lot of dash cam videos recently, I have become more conscious of how I drive and how those around me drive.
Since getting my own dash cam I have altered my driving to be a bit more on the defensive side...
Hopefully this is not too off-topic, but I'm curious what the fascination with window stickers is?
Not meant as an insult, genuinely curious. Is it like a scrapbook/memory book sort of thing or for some other reason?
Here is what my engine looks like (2020 GT premium 6-speed manual).
As a side note my hood and prop rod get VERY hot just sitting in the sun, almost burned myself
I don't know a lot about the workings on these (or really any) automobile engines, but it sounds normal to me. My last car ('07 Mustang GT) and my current car do this as well (both manuals if that makes any difference).
Holy crap, $4600?!
I was having trouble even spotting any damage on your bumper, crazy to think of how much hidden damage there was (unless of course it's not REALLY that bad and the shop is just replacing everything because they know it's being covered by insurance?).
Did you ever find out...
Installed Blackvue DR590w-2ch dash cam and even managed to hide all the wires nicely. It's my first car project since replacing the axle-backs in my '07 GT back in 2011, so it took me a lot longer than it probably should have :P
Ran out of time to do the power magic pro hard-wiring, so I'm...
I think for most people it's better not to think too much about it
As for me? Probably less than $500 (not including purchase price obviously). But I've also had it only 2 weeks tomorrow :giggle:
If I could somehow get some premium cloth seats and retain my heated/ventilated function I'd probably go for it; if for nothing else, to at least have a change of pace (I've somehow managed to have leather in every car I've owned since getting my license).
That said, I agree with others have...
+1 for the carabiner
Most of the time I just need my fob and house key. If I'm visiting my mom I can throw her house key on the loop quick and easy.
Keeps things uncluttered and organized.
I hope I'm ok "hijacking" this thread, but it seems like it's not too much of a segue.
My 07 GT had a CAI and I loved the "woosh" it made when I went from nothing to WOT. I was curious if I would get this same sound putting one on my 2020?
About a year ago I came here looking for some advice on a used 2015 Mustang GT. But after much deliberation decided the time wasn't right.
After saving for another year, I finally closed the deal on a new 2020 Mustang GT. Glad I get to finally be a part of the S550 club :)
Hey all, I currently own a 2007 GT and while she's been good to me I've got that itch for something newer.
I've got my eye on a beautiful Competition Orange 2015 GT Premium with performance package. I'm wondering if there is anything I should be looking out for with this specific year/setup...
