So, I had a '15 - which I'm fairly sure had the first A/C issue of the S550's. In Nov 14, with 9 miles on, all but 3 by me, I had to drive it back to get a new compressor .
In my '17 (Dec 16 Build), which I've had for 7 months and around 6.5K miles, I've noticed on Auto, it never really blows...
Well, I was finally convinced to order the Steeda clutch spring & perch. I'll see how much of a difference it makes when it arrives. I didn't have an issue with the feel before - it felt much like my '09, so maybe I was just used to it. When I first got my '09 it did feel "light and springy"...
I'm gonna be captain obvious here, but it's because the 1st three (plus EB) are of the same lineage and are Mustangs sharing large portions of their design, with parts that are interchangeable in many cases; While a Camaro and Corvette are, well, different cars entirely.
I got my tracking number from CJP for this weekends project.
A few pages back I mentioned I'd ordered a Blowfish Racing shifter bracket from CJ Pony Parts. This was my third purchase from them (the first two being unsuccessful) and I was hoping it'd be uneventful. Of course, it just couldn't...
Like many things, they were on sale then. I almost pulled the trigger and decided to wait. Around memorial day the price may drop again, because that's what seems to happen around holidays.
And ... that $33 more, not $50 :)
They're buying Fox, so they'll get the FF, Galactus, Silver Surfer, etc. back, as well as the X-Men. But, the deal isn't yet closed/approved and the earliest it'd be finalized is supposedly the end of the year, early next. Those characters, as of today, still can't be in each other's movies...
Correct. I think the biggest issue is turning a multi-arc series into a 2 to 2.5 hour movie, and without the rights to all of the characters to boot.
And, yes, it's also been the "fastest to $1 billion" world-wide. That alone, doesn't make it a good film, though I do enjoy them.
Exactly; Who cares what other people like?
True, but they also sold maybe 5 Capri's in the US.
^^ Obvious exaggeration before someone takes offense.
Disclaimer: I am a "Mustang Guy." Pretty much all I've ever driven, since my first car in high school and my dad having two '65s growing up.
If you were keeping the V6 AND getting a 'Vette, why not a GT350?
Regardless, I'd rather have the V6 as a daily, and a "fun" car for other days.
I think the point being, the Camaro & Firebird/Trans Am were wholly the same car minus a few visual changes. There is a decent chance they're already combined.
Edit: And I don't hate it. It's just not for me - I've always been a Mustang fan since I was a kid and my dad had two. I also...
Today, I ordered my Blowfish Racing Shifter Support Bracket from CJ Pony Parts. I'm hoping, along with the Synchro Shift II I changed out a few weeks ago, that it'll be a a noted improvement in shifting.
Now, I need a few months to rebuild the mod-bank and will start in earnest on the...
Exactly. In 2017 Mustangs it's only braking pre-assist and the warning and I like having it, as well as BSM. I wish mine had lane keep and auto-braking as well. But, as mentioned it's a supplement, not a replacement, for good judgment.
I scanned the 2018 Manual and saw only a reference to the "Red" flashing as we've discussed, and saw no mention of "Blue" flashing. So, now my interest is piqued on what that is.
