Nice. so
So around 2032, when the Voodoo gives out, and they donāt have any warranty crate engines left, you might end up with a Mach 1 with GT350R stripes. š
Nice Z06.
And without a shadow of a doubt. Coyote motor inside a GT350(R) chassis. Icing on the cake is that it looks amazing as well, and weights less than the DH.
So GM still holds the stock record.
GM also built the ZR1 and ZR1X in-house, whereas the GTD is a Multimatic vehicle.
Whatās the āmoveā for GM again?
Ford has a dedicated team monitoring online forums and YT comments to market their vehicles. They push against any negative comments about Ford, specifically Mustang. Itās astroturfing. Lots of corporations do it.
So youāre under the impression that Ford engineered the GT350 for the drag strip? Youāre confusing a Hellcat for a GT350. That said, on the road course, the Mach 1 has already outperformed the GT350, just go look at C&D LL times. That said, Iām not trashing the GT350. On road course with longer...
The GT350 idolization is hilarious. Itās not that special, and the DH/M1 have already shown to outperform it. Itās still a Mustang with an unreliable motor. The GT500 is on a different level.
Iām actually opposed to this. The Bullitt Coyote is money for the Mach 1. I wouldnāt want to worry about finding parts and pieces in the future. Having a standard Coyote is a blessing in disguise. Ford doesnāt even sell the Voodoo as a crate engine, they only have warranty replacements. And as...
The Mach 1 is the perfect naturally-aspirated Mustang. Reliable, and stout engine, and the GT350 chassis. Only thing missing was a bespoke steering wheel.
So the excuse is that because others did it worse, we should give a pass? Companies should always try to innovated and elevate their products. And just look at what GM is doingā¦Escalade Vs, Blackwings, C8s. Instead Ford had to write off billions in losses thanks to Jim āTake that Elon Muskā Farley.
If you get an extended warranty. Thereās a reason why Ford doesnāt make FPC engines anymore, and why the Predator/Aluminator arenāt FPC engines. A GT350 with a Coyote is a Mach 1. š
I got a set of BMRs, and Iāve been extremely satisfied. Iām sure Steedaās springs are also top-notch (based on my experience with other Steeda products).
Well, Ford chose sound over reliability, and they did a great job. Unequal length headers (like Subarus) and a flat-plane crank (like a Ferrari) did the trick. And yet the engine is a catastrophic when it comes to reliability.
Weāll see if GM got the reliability part right with the LT6, because...
