I don't have the safe-and-smart package on my 2020 but I was able to tap my Uniden R7 into the rearview mirror plug. I'll try and take a picture/find the guide I used when I get home.
I've got 1/32" left in the front and 2/32" left in the rear on my DSW square setup after 35k miles of only occasionaly fun driving. I felt like they went a litel early.
OP, if you want automatic then 2018+ is the way to go.
Since I've daily driven a S550 with and without magneride I strongly reccomend finding a car with magneride if you can. Sure it's more complication and will be more expensive to replace whenever it goes but there is a noticable difference...
This was going to be my exact comment.
This isn't a bad idea if that's important to you. You're going to get some damage on the ride home. Depends on home much you care about chips, I decided I'm just going to live with chips with my car since It already came with a few when I got her at 3000...

I've had a few rebuilds on mine.
I'd say it's fairly smooth now. Only 2 things stand out at this point:
During winters hen I first start the car in the morning and drive out out of my driveway, it sometimes feels a little clunky but shifts normally while actually driving. It feels like it's...
I put the Switchfire on my 2020 with the active exhaust. I think it sounds amazing just like, especially in the loud mode. I'd go for it.
My 2018 came with a Roush axleback with some sort of H pipe from what I remember. I wouldn't say that it sounded bad but it did border on obnoxious. There...
