I posted this in another thread but here is 21MY TT0025 still with FoMoCo. Appeared to be a 600A manual HP with Recaro. And yes it’s a test mule doing mule things that don’t involve looking show car pretty.
Preproduction. TT is Tool Tryout and usually the first online build. PP is Production Proveout and the second online build event before MP1 which is also Job 1.
Yeah test mules don’t get much love but I guarantee all the lug nuts are there, they might not all match but they are there...
Stumbled upon TT0025 walking through a lot at work the other day. Still wearing an M-plate and appearing to be well used. Nicely equipped with Handling Pkg, 6spd, and cloth Recaros. I’m assuming it’s a 2021 but don’t know for certain.
Running the Steeda Dual Rate springs on this one.
Leave all driveways sideways car & coffee style whenever possible. Actually no, but I did pop rivet on a couple 2”x2” 1/4” think pieces of ABS plastic to be sacrificial wear points on the underbelly shield and splitter.
If you enjoy doing the work yourself these can be great buys and fun projects. I bought this one from Copart a couple years ago with 8k miles and put it back together. It’s been an amazing car and yes it has a salvge title but to think it was only good for parts is a bit short sided. I...
Could be because of my other cars with them, my age, driving record ? It seemed to be no problem which I surprised since it’s not technically a classic.
I have my two classics insured through Hagerty and they were more than happy to add my 21 Mach1 HP at a rate less than half what I was paying through Allstate for equal coverage. Track day coverage is available but extra.
I installed them at the same time I installed all the other suspension bits so sorry I can’t pinpoint out their specific contribution. I would suspect it won’t be an earth shattering difference and might be hard to discern.
Thought I added mine but guess not. So there is a build thread for this car on here Saving Mach 1 Chassis M1841 that tells the whole story but in short I bought this from a Copart salvage auction and put it back together. Read the build thread for details and comments.
2021 Mach 1, 600A...
Things like bumpers, door handles, sharks fins, mirrors, and other miscellaneous parts are painted at the suppliers and not with the shell of your vehicle at the assembly plant. Colors are supposed to match of course but as you can imagine many variables are at play.
I would look the car...
Love how Velocity Blue pops in the sun. This was 2024 Mohawk Track event at Gingerman in South Haven Michigan. Nate Vestal nvusimages.com took this photo. (I bought it from him)
This car has come a long way since it was loaded on my trailer with a fork lift 3 yrs ago. Pretty much done...
