Glad you made it home safe, it was great meeting you in Calgary on the weekend at the IMM45, your car turned out great, someone will be lucky to have the opportunity to buy this rare beast. All the best Andy.
Hey Andy, sorry to hear that you are thinking of selling. thats terrible that your car has been at DA for that long. I was actually wondering how your car was coming along. I am sure you would love the car after the mods are completed and you get to drive it, but I also get what you are saying...
KR Spots were spoken for almost as soon as it was announced. There may be a waiting list you can go on if someone decides to cancel, but I am not sure. Call Dale Adams in Calgary and chat with them, they also do wide bodies there.
I’m not sure if the roads are any better, but you are right it is super low now. I did put the Sliplo protectors underneath, and glad I did as it saved me on a couple gas station entries last night on the way to Montana.
It is finally home, I beleive the first of 14 to be done at the Canadian Shelby shops and one of the 225 worldwide that will be done. The CF side hood vents still need to be addressed as they have some fog in them, center CF hood vent is on order. Here a few pics...
These ADM threads are all the same, I get a kick out of the emotions that get stirred up. Everyone and anyone has to make a purchase decision that suits their means and objectives. Find your best deal that fits this equation and pull the trigger, or don’t. It doesn’t matter what others think.
I would agree, but who knows what the bottom looks like and for how long, it really is anyone’s guess. In the end, we can’t can’t bank on these as guaranteed investments, but they will always have value and part of the assigned value is the enjoyment factor we get with our cars. As they say YOLO
I think conditions are different now then what they were for the 08/09 KR’s. Back then the HP race was really just beginning and the “regular“ GT500’s subsequent to 09 had higher HP ratings, especially the 13/14 models and of course current GT350’s and GT500’s, so with many options for more...
Sucks that it happened, but no injuries or serious damage is the main thing. I dont think I would have held my composure as well as you did lol. Glad you jumped right back on that horse. These cars definitely demand respect, these things happens so fast.
I did see these basic stats, but waiting for the detailed stats based on color, options, base/ CFTP. Like they have done with past GT500’s. Giving a person an idea how many cars like theirs were built.
Has anyone had any scheduling update on their KR build? I talked to the Canadian Shelby shop that mine has a KR spot in about a month ago any they were still waiting for updates from SA in Vegas. Also, I thouhgt by now they would be having more updates on the actual motor performance specs.
