  1. Down pipe question

Agreed it does not sound like the tune is correct for the mods on the car. BD
  2. Down pipe question

Ok so does your HPP have active exhaust now or you are wanting to add an aftermarket active exhaust to your HPP. I don't know if the factory active exhaust is the same as the non HPP systems in terms of the reducer/suitcase resonator being in the system. As far as I know you are correct in that...
  3. Down pipe question

You state you already installed the CVFab DP so it would be easiest to just buy there 3" elbow that will fit that DP and allow you to remove the 2.25" section of the factory catback to make it a 3" from DP into factory system. Exhaust Connection Adapter for CVF 3" Stainless Steel Catted or...
  4. Down pipe question

I agree the whole point of the high flow DP is just that to increase flow so to keep the 2.25' restriction is just not acceptable. BD
  5. Down pipe question

Do you mean aftermarket catback DP, if not still have no idea where the hatchback is coming from. The link you posted above is dyno runs for 5.0 mustangs. BD
  6. Lightest IC for upgrade

Yep, bigger turbo on stock block and internals is just a bomb waiting to explode even on E85. BD
  7. Lightest IC for upgrade

I don't have a need for E85 at this time but was just stating that it's not readily available at the pump for a lot of the US. Not everyone is willing to buy it in barrels and have no place to store it if they did buy it by the barrel. BD
  8. Lightest IC for upgrade

Sadly, E85 is not available to all of us in the states at the pumps. BD
  9. Down pipe question

His signature shows a 2020 HPP eco so where are you getting a hatchback from this post. BD
  10. Down pipe question

The mid pipe is 2.25" in diameter and the CVFab DP can be bought with either the elbow with a reduced end that is the same 2.25" as the mid pipe or with the elbow that is 3" at both ends. So, if the used DP you bought has the 3' elbow you need to buy the elbow that has the one end reduced to...
  11. HOW TO: Swap PP gauges into standard model

I have the same thoughts as you about swapping in the gauges like in this thread as well. I just hate to cobble up the dash and possibly make a mistake that then means the whole dash would need removed to fix the mistake. I also like the 3 vents. I like the look of the pod on top of the dash as...
  12. HOW TO: Swap PP gauges into standard model

That is not the one I was talking about; it was just a pod for 2 gauges and set on a raised pedestal in the speaker grill area. I have tried searching for the thread but have had no luck finding it. It IMO did not look bad or out of place. I found it and I was wrong it is a 3-gauge pod. Its...
  13. HOW TO: Swap PP gauges into standard model

There is a thread on this forum about a member designing a gauge pod that fits on top of the dash speaker grill area similar to earlier gen mustangs used. It might even be somewhere in this thread also. BD
  14. Lightest IC for upgrade

I would recommend this one for best bang for the buck and this company actually test its products on street driven cars that they own and use as test mules. STEPPED CORE ALUMINUM (RACE) INTERCOOLER UPGRADE (MUSTANG ECOBOOST 201 – EUROCOMPULSION (shopeurocompulsion.net) BD
  15. Christmas Early

You need to drive south to Christmas, FL just off of I-95 on Hwy 50 west of the interstate and mail a post card to your family/buddies still in Cali so it's postmarked from Christmas, FL. That post office is swamped with outgoing mail every year at Christmas time. BD
  16. EXCESSIVE OIL CONSUMPTION - NEED HELP

Do the tailpipes have any oily residue buildup in them that you can see that would indicate excess oil is being burned. How much oil is in the catch can? BD
  17. HOW TO BUILD A GOOD ECOBOOST 2.3 LITRE FOR UNDER 2500.00

No problem. Hope you get back on your feet soon. BD
  18. HPP Ecoboost Identifcation

The 8th digit of the VIN is the engine designation so a non HPP will have an "H" as the 8th digit and an HPP will have a "D" as the 8th digit for 2020 to 2023 model years. Not sure on prior model years since 2020 was the first year for the HPP whereas 15-19 were just called PP for performance...
  19. coolant siphoning

The coolant will drain from that connection until the level in the entire engine/radiator is at the same level. BD
  20. Mustangs At Daytona

So how is your month+ time in Fl treating you so far. You like it better than the left coast you escaped from a bit ago. You will find there is always something going on in Daytona to keep you busy and entertained. BD
