Do whatever makes you happy and not a poll on the internet. The beauty of modding in this platform or any others is we have lots of options to make the car the way you want it. Do what makes you happy with it!! Don't worry about what other people think will look best on your car.
I like what...
Have you scanned for codes? Taken it anywhere else besides internet troubleshooting?
Agree with the above, take a few breaths, say Woo Sah a few times, and provide as much information as you can. Or take it to a shop and tell them what is going on to help you troubleshoot.
This is the most Karen thing i've seen in a while.... Wengerd dodged a bullet cause even if he got the tune loaded the next time a spark plug or air filter would need to be replaced it would have been the tunes fault....
It was 100% worth it, but does lead to the always wanting more aspect. If you are going to stay N/A for a few years, then yes. If you are the type of person that will want more, then i would just save for boost and skip it. If i could go back in time, i would have just waited for my ESS kit...
Sadly, nobody can predict how long its going to last for you. If you were not the person to do the mods and get the tune, i wouldn't purchase that for your daily driver. To many unknowns with how it was setup. If you look around this forum you will see lots of stories of people purchasing...
If you have the IMRC plugged in and go back to the stock tune it will work. Its more than likely your cold air intake that needs the tune to not throw the code.
A few things to try. Have IMRC plugged in. Install stock cold air intake and reload your stock tune. Reset your battery. You...
I've had mine off on a 6mt and a10 and never did anything after i reinstalled them. Never had any issues. The cold idle makes sense, but i didn't even do that. Worst case, pull the battery for a bit and let the computer do its thing.
When i was car shopping for a daily a few years ago... I started up a 2018 SHO with the 3.5 EB and it had some crap exhaust on it. As soon as the car started, i said nope and moved onto the next. 99% of most v6 just don't sound good no matter what you do.
Agree, this isn't the worst i heard...
I'd load the stock tune. Redownload the tune from lund onto the device and try again. Make sure to have a tender or a good charge on the battery. If that doesn't work, talk to lund and ensure its the right file or not corrupted. Might have not fully flashed or maybe something goofy happened...
That's some kind of custom tune and not the Roush.
S550-M6-TVS-47-93-R1b
Car- Trans- Blower- Injectors-Octane- tune revision would be my guess on that naming convention.
That is common. Mine did the same things and you'll also notice your fans run for a bit if the car is above a certain temp after you turn the car off. Those pumps can be a common failure point along with the relays that run it. I did one pump swap to the Cobra Jet pump and had a relay issue...
I've had 4 s550s and now my Mach. This is not normal at all. That oil is going somewhere for sure. Best of luck finding a good dealer to get this figured out for you.
This 100% around here. And the Ultimas and Sentras. I think you have to sign a waiver when you buy one of those ensuring you'll drive them like a jackas* or they won't sell you one.
I'd be able to spot that black s650 cop easy. I think i've seen 2-3 on the road total around me. Most are still sitting on lots so i would know something is fishy around me. I wonder if the cop trim still comes with the drift brake.... Imagine all those screens in the cop car. The ipads on...
I didn't realize BAMA was tuning ESS now....
All of that should not be happening. Hopefully you used a tuner on the ESS recommended list. Wengerd had me dialed in right off the bat. This screams tuning issue vs it being issues elsewhere.
Just give it as much gas as you can and get away... Oh wait, that counts as a race...
I typically just ignore them. A nod, a smile, or just keep looking straight ahead. They get the point pretty quick.
Lately i've been getting more kids rolling down the window with their parents and...
You made a mistake i learned a long time ago. Get the wife her new car first and then its open game on what you get yourself. If you go first it never ends well... Nice ride and color. Enjoy it!!
