Looks simple enough, FWIW, mine has the brass bushing instead of the bearing but it growls pretty loud certain times when it's cold backing out of garage in the morning, makes some pretty funny noises in there until like the first time you drive the car 10mph
Well so far, they've done right by us so I'm sure dj is all set but it doesn't make the clutch job any easier. And the time without your clutch and car put together if it's your only ride... certainly an issue there
Yeah that's about exactly the same as mine. The pressure plate marks and the flywheel marks are exactly the same. I really hope there aren't a ton more of these out there... @HKusp when yours went, did you have any pictures like this by any chance?
Nope I'm completely bone stock other than the type of coolant. I'm running the newest P-OAT coolant as i couldn't find the factory pink or orange stuff. Forget what color it was. Pretty sure my coolant now is gold color.
But I maintain, I've had no issues on track once using higher gears. On the...
Pretty sure fuel matters way more than air in these setups. I have hit the fuel barrier with stock manifolds and cats on a 115mm pulley. I would spend the money on an arcane fuel system to run e85 or just significantly more ethanol in the pump gas before i worried about throttle body size. Just...
I did when trying to use the lower gears around the track, saw temps around 235 degrees. Had to switch to using 4th a lot more than i was used to, which meant carrying more speed into corners. So it changed shift points and braking zones entirely. Also, for the straight i just got to like...
Awesome man I'm very happy for you, I will say mine is quite sketchy on track now post ESS 😂 but it's a ton of fun on the straights!! Corner exit a bit hairy 🤣🤣
456rwhp is quite good naturally aspirated, aside from the obvious, why did you personally feel you wanted/needed about 250 more 😂😂
how do you use the car? Any track/strip?
It's been my experience that some bolts the heads are almost impossible to get to even with $100,00 worth of tool truck fancy tools (i have just over half that in my toolbox). If you can't tighten the bolts, you can't get it to seal lol. Almost always i can get on studs with a nut even with BBK...
Do they leak at all after the fact? Common issue in old school cars is they leak after install no matter how much you tighten the bolts... are most of them studs on the engine block?
Conveniently I still have factory cats on the car. Just needed readiness monitors on. But it's good to know I'll have the option to trick the system at some point in the future. I'm just way too cheap to buy headers 🤣🤣
According to Google those are both E85 primarily with hydrocarbons in them. C85 being a higher performance fuel. X85 said it was an affordable alternative to pump e85 which is horribly inconsistent. Just always double check with your tuner before using a different kind of fuel
I thought I saw that it pumped in cold air to the air intercooler on our systems, my bad. Thought it was like meth injection but with a refrigerant of some kind. I know the he'll cat or demon runs their air conditioning directly into the intake to cool intake temps. Pretty cool idea there...
It's more common than you'd think. Without giant red letters to say airflow this way! I don't think it's going to get any better 😂 glad you got it figured out though. When's your battery showing up?
You haven't swapped to the ford racing ones or the ngk??
I may be wrong but maybe that's why it's shutting itself down? If you can smell fuel it's probably too rich or not burning the fuel cuz spark plug gap is too far apart
