  1. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

Since you're boosted and probably already running the proper timing for your fuel you probably won't benefit much from anymore advance but you will see longer life with them and less high rpm misfires. It might not be something you can feel in the seat but it would be shown on a dyno.
  2. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

Use the m50a motorcraft spec ngk plugs. They come gapped at .030 so closing all the way down to .022 if needed is acceptable they also come with an electrode arm designed for boost that is much stiffer then the 6510. The reason you're seeing inconsistent gapping from the 6510 is because of the...
  3. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

The 6510 is the stock heat range for the gen 3, it is one step colder though for a gen 2 car like mentioned. Either way a 6510 should not be used for boosted combos because out of the box they come at .044 gap and ngk never recommends closing the gap more then .008 it causes the electrodes to...
  4. Paxton sanity/fitment check please

I'm not sure what Paxton charges for the intake tube now but I have one I could sell you for $50 plus shipping.
  5. Paxton sanity/fitment check please

Like already mentioned make sure no pipes are even close to touching and yes the smalll filter is a restriction but if you only plan around 600 rwhp then it's ok.
  6. BL Fabrications 88/96 turbo install on 2019 Bullitt

I know others that have done the same. Hope it works out for you.
  7. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

Looks like the g3x is out of steam, let's see what the g3r will do. You can see if it's clutch slip by looking at your rpm vs mph.
  8. Anyone seen a gen3 piston failure like this?

I'm guessing Oakley is being sarcastic and joking. He can't be serious.
  9. Anyone seen a gen3 piston failure like this?

Yeah I'd only expect about a 3* increase. On the dyno it would be interesting to see the amount of additional timing vs dimishined gains.
  10. Anyone seen a gen3 piston failure like this?

They might be talking about thermal shock.
  11. BL Fabrications 88/96 turbo install on 2019 Bullitt

Is you PCV hooked up? Considering only 8,800 miles and E85 use that looks like a good bit of carbon.
  12. Anyone seen a gen3 piston failure like this?

Gen4 has a sleeve? It's not spray bore?
  13. SQUEEZING THE MOST OUT OF A CENTRI BUILD FOR ROLL RACING (60-130 times shared - share yours)

"Fast" is relative. A 4.70 60 to 130 is equivalent to about a 150 mph trap in the 1/4 depending on variables.
  14. SQUEEZING THE MOST OUT OF A CENTRI BUILD FOR ROLL RACING (60-130 times shared - share yours)

It's getting better, are you starting in 2nd now? From the graph it still looks like you're starting in 3rd.
  15. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

They come around .030 I gap them down to .026.
  16. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

For cars 1000 rwhp or less I use the ford performance m50a plugs which are ngk with great results.
  17. ESS Centrifugal Mustang Superchargers

I've literally been saying this for years the ngk 6510 is not a boosted sparkplug, yes it does work but was never intended for boost. It's not made to be gapped less then .036. The electrodes are no longer parallel which causes other issues and accelerated wear and misfires. Any tuner still...
  18. Vortech V3-Jt Oil change help

On a 3.6 pulley the belt should be a 101.5 if the idler is in the preset location.
