  8. Adding memory seats to 2015-2017 GT Premium

I had looked into this for my ā€˜22 Maverick, compared it to an Escape; which is the same platform. There are a couple things you should look for, that I didn’t see you mention: 1. Do the seat motors need to be changed? In my case, the power seat motors do not have the position sensors in them. So...
  9. Is it possible to power up a gauge cluster out of the car?

What you need to figure out is what is the minimum for the LCD backlight to come up. Those pins 8 & 3, may or may not be enough. Just saying, if you do those and it doesn’t light, that doesn’t mean it doesn’t work; just might need some type of signal from the CAN bus.
  10. Talk Me Out Of Test Driving A GT350

They will prorate a refund if you end it early. So the previous owner most likely did that. My dealer said that is what typically happens if car is traded in. For private sale, depends on whether the seller feels included it helped the sale.
  11. Talk Me Out Of Test Driving A GT350

Yes, you can. I just did it for my ā€˜19 last week. There is a thread on this topic. There are New ESPs and Used ESPs. You cannot get the New one. That is why some say you can’t get a ESP. They are particularly correct. As far as Granger, they decided to not offer ESP on cars older than a certain...
  12. 2019 GT350 Ford Performance Blue Journey and Build

Took wife out for dinner and ice cream.
  13. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Same here. When they had mine on the lift the other day, there was a slight oil film on the rear shocks. But since I see others posted we should tell a difference, wondering if my shocks are going bad and that is my cause. Just got it on the road, since I acquired it, so doing a little wait and...
  14. Are There Any ESPs Left For MY 2017?

Was debating 5 or 6 years, but the prorated tipped it for me. Who knows what prices will be in 5 years. Plus I’d have to buy down the deductible again.
  15. Are There Any ESPs Left For MY 2017?

I just went through a similar process. I went Premium 6yrs/40k. I didn’t think they went beyond 6yrs (which is 72 months). Mine didn’t offer that, nor was there such an option on https://www.zeiglerfordesp.com/process/?type=primary. I also don’t think the Base covers all AC items, but a majority...
  16. Engineering Explained Buys a GT350

I saw something somewhere about that. I think they said the ā€˜R’ represents Trademark; which is typically the R in the circle.
  17. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Ouch. Mine looks just the lip; not as bad as that. Did you just get a replacement through Ford?
  18. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Finally done with its ā€˜new to me’ steps: state inspection and oil change complete. Decided to also have alignment checked and wheels balanced. Everything was in the green. Found a slight bend on the inner lip of one front rim; must have met a pot hole it didn’t like. Got Ford ESP PremiumCare 6/40.
  19. Pre-Purchase Advice 2018 GT350

In the end, you just have to go with your gut. First car you looked at or not, if it’s what you want, get it. Some of us, including myself, bought sight unseen. I had videos (running and such) and pictures sent. I talked with owner and had a great rapport. Went with my gut, am very happy. One...
  20. 2019 GT350 Ford Performance Blue Journey and Build

State inspection and oil change complete. After looks of thought, as I’m not an extended warranty kind of person, I got the Ford ESP PremiumCare 6yr/40k with disappearing deductible (i.e. $0 deductible when my dealer does the work, $100 deductible anywhere else). The most expensive route to...
