  1. Senior needs help with "resetting" A10 transmission

Larry, at 3600 miles my wife's 10 spd has started the same thing. The bump into D from P isn't as violent as yours, but It's there. My problem is that it doesn't do it all of the time, so it's gonna be a struggle to convince the dealer. Good luck, and keep us updated.
  2. A10 banging into drive.

My wife's 10spd is acting in a similar manner. Sometimes it will bump on downshifts from 3 to 1, and the same when shifting into D from P. I know it won't do the deed for the service tech, but I'k gonna take it in and talk with them.
  3. Seriously, How many tick/rattle engines in the last 2 months?

That's the same area my rattle is TC. Like you I haven't done an oil change yet, so I got that to look forward too. :)
  4. Time to say goodbye to the mustang!

Well sir, that sure is brighter. I like it. Enjoy.
  5. Interior Color

I'm in the "black floor mat" camp. Takes the worry out of having to match a color that's very hard to match.
  6. Just curious...

We don't use the easy enter/exit in our "19, but the memory seats are still not very good. Like me they seem to forget more than they remember. :)
  7. Seriously, How many tick/rattle engines in the last 2 months?

I'm beginning to think this is a stock option on these cars. I've got a little rattle somewhere on the drivers side (in the same area) that goes away after the car warms up. Damnit........:curse: :) I need to go "in search of", but hate to tear the car apart. My luck I would cause more rattles.
  8. New Owner ticks and quirks 2016 GT Vert

Yep, good old WD40, or some silicone spray. Either will do the trick.
  9. New Owner ticks and quirks 2016 GT Vert

Good point racer. After owning verts for ever I should have thought about that. Thanks.
  10. Had the BEST day in our new '19 GT A10 Conv

I do agree. Our '18 vert is leaps, and bounds ahead of our '13 vert. That perfect day with the top down, a long and winding road, with your bestie by your side. That's the best blood pressure medicine known to man.
  11. New Owner ticks and quirks 2016 GT Vert

    Congratulations on the Mustang. Enjoy
  12. Got Rear ended today

Thank God you, and your wife are OK. Chit happens, and the good news about Mamma put's the car wreck into perspective.
  13. Under Headlight Graphics

I agree, and the top picture lettering looks better to me. Only a bit smaller IMHO. It's your car brother, make it the way you want. saleen bumper
  14. 2018 Mustang GT with PP1 5000 miles Buying Tips

As far as the tick all years have some that do the dirty deed. I suggest asking the service manager run a VIS report on the car. It's easy to do no matter what they say, they just put the VIN in their computer. If there were any serious problems (warranty work) with the car in those first 5K...
  15. Easter Bunny Came Early For Me

Wow, that Easter Bunny........what a guy. Congratulations, it's a beauty.
  16. NC Service Q

I agree with NoVaGT, it's basically just a Ford. My dealer doesn't have a dedicated Mustang service Tech, and in the last 8 years we've owned Mustang's they have always done a fine job servicing them.
  17. How much was your PPF and what brand did you use? Hows it holding up?

Penguin, that price seems to be right inside the ball park on the prices I paid here in North Carolina. I did the bumper, full hood, full front fenders for a bit over 1500 bucks. The installer is a good guy, and since I did the wife's GT and my Corvette Grand Sport in the same time frame he...
  18. 2018 GT A10 Basket case of issues...

Matco, I glad I found this thread. I thought the 4th gear thing was just normal with the A10 until I saw this. The wife's car has always felt like it was slipping, jerking, jumping when accelerating while in 4th gear. It can be described as feeling like you're you going over little humps in the...
  19. Opinions needed!

If you want some contrast brother go with the blue (I know what you're going for with that color). I will look good. And, if you decided you made a bad decision, it's just paint, you can paint 'em again. Be safe. May St. Michael ride with you always. Jim (Ret. Det. Sgt. Concord, NC)
