Hey, did you ever figure it out? Mine makes probably the same noise but I have the Roush cat back (so x pipe instead of H pipe). Whistling/whining mainly noticeable hitting the throttle near wall or overpass.
From what I can tell, yes. It hasn’t happened since, my guess is there was some false knock going on from the extra vibrations and it was pulling timing.
In case anyone has this issue in the future, the issue was the hangars were rubbing against the sway bar. You could see the marks on it. I cut 2 inches off the end of the axle back to push it back farther so it wouldn’t rub. Looks better now anyways since the tips aren’t sticking out as far as...
Yeah I was thinking the rattling was just some part against the exhaust. I’m more worried about the rpm dipping, I don’t want to hurt my engine. I’ve always thought of catbacks as pretty harmless since they don’t need a tune.
