Last week was busy!
Did a few trips with my now newly whippled gen1 gt350.
Drove from the north of Austria to Carinthia and later to Venice, Italy.
Followed by a short break for a motorcycle track day and procceded to Nurburgring.
Unfortunatly my alternator died on the way back, either from...
Got my Ukie carbon parts installed + Aforceauto boots.
The center console is almost finished, just the shift knob gets replaced with a red one and i'm still missing the top cover of the handbrake.
Slowly but surly the interior matches the quality of the car itself(:
My 2016 GT350 has around 50k miles. Original engine and trans (except synchros). Survived the track and even an automatic zf8 swap for a year without issue! Just keep an eye on the oil and you'll be fine. The engine is pretty sturdy, at least in my case (:
Project was basically finished already. I only recommend going for a third party controller for a true performance feel.
Everything else worked like a charm and all the error's got fixed (:!
Final update for the 8Hp swap for now!
Iām currently reverting back to the Tremec. Iām pretty much finished, just need to reinstall the transmission after it was repaired for 6k⬠and after a 4 month wait š
On my TR3160, not only did the synchros wear, but a gear on the input shaft was also...
No I meant holding the start button instead of just one push. Im not sure if it only works when the car detects an issue with the clutch switch, but on my car I killed the switch once and was able to circumvent the issue that way.
Figured it out! No more errors and everything works. Cruise control, stability control, abs, no more weird things going on(:
The culprit was actually this table:
I guess something is up with the error detection so i just increased the threshold significantly.
I bet the unstable OSS also...
I didn't notice any major symptoms with the valve although if i remember correctly the valve wasn't that loud rattling compared to the new one.
+ There was a huge amount of oil on the exhaust pipes and under heavy throttle you could see a small amount of smoke
Long term report.
I can say that after more than 10k km my GT350 consumes 0 oil anymore, considering it was burning a liter every few hundred kilometers
