I too like DRL's. I can't tell you how many times when it's dawn, sunset, raining, etc. and I can spot a DRL car way better than I can without before pulling out. I always turn on my headlights when on a two lane road or highway as well. I for one want to be seen. Most, if not all, DRL's do not...
I'm on the fence too. It's killing me waiting for the final product and numbers. I will admit when I saw the mustang (two of them) at the Las Vegas 50th I was unsure. I loved everything but the rear quarter panels. They just seemed BIG to me. Almost out of place. Of course the one that looked...
Any new pics of the 2015 V6 engine bay that are good quality? How about any of the 2013/14 V6 engine cover? I can't seem to find anything good on google.
Well, not a new manufacturers battery yet (knock on wood) but a premium replacement died on me after 4 months without notice after having driven to work without an issue. It does and can happen to even the best batteries. It's very rare though.
At least there is access to the trunk contents...
The V6 model certainly needs an aftermarket engine cover. It looks like frankenstein without it. Just like any of the other engines would without a cover. They just don't make them awesome looking anymore. I guess with all the electronic and emmission stuff it just can't be done.
At first I was...
I have to admit I was surprised. When I knew it would be the base radio I researched basic standard models of Fords and they all looked decent - nice actually. When the first pics came out for the Mustang radio I was dumbfounded. I told myself that surely it must have been just a prototype and...
No, no, airbags (even this solid thing) will deploy way prior to ever even coming close to hitting it. Unless of course your knees are right next to it. That's why they have the recommended space requirements for seating position. Ignore that and yes, it will be exactly as you describe but still...
Ha ha! Remember the early 70's and all of the 60's when engines spoke for themselves under the hood? No need for engine covers. The best you had was a cool air cleaner - and there were some way cool ones. Plus paint colors signified different manufactures, etc. Today raw engines look like crap...
Very interesting. I thought only the driver got a knee airbag so I hope this video is accurate as none of the specs show it that I can recall(?).
Thanks for the vid!
Well, yes, getting a quote can and most likely does get a hit on your credit rating, however it does not affect your score what-so-ever. It's a "soft hit". Unlike applying for a loan or credit card which is a "hard hit". You can get as many insurance quotes as you want and it will do nothing to...
Well, for the extreem little that we get to see the dash in that video I don't really see anything glaringly wrong with the dash panel. Sure, a solid sliver panel would look better.
Is the Premium really true aluminum or just look a like aluminum that's made of plastic?
Back in 2006 I didn't have the $ to install the clear bra on the hood/bumper on my Mazda Mx-5 (Miata) but instead purchased 3M clear bra's for the fog lights and headlights. Came out well doing it myself. A few bubbles that went away once summer hit here.
To this day - what, 8 years later, my...
Here's what I'm looking at for registering my new Mustang next year (from the NM MVD site):
"The registration fee for passenger vehicles is based on the weight and model year of the vehicle. Registration fees range from $27.00 to $62.00 for a one (1) year registration or $54.00 to $124.00 for a...
I truly believe that this was released early due to demand and no, not everything is correct. If you read the very base model V6 standard features it not only lists the dual climate but fog lights too. Yet the first picture when choosing a model shows a car without fog lights. All pics within...
Very nice pics everyone. Thank you. When I saw the 2015 Mustang at the 50th Las Vegas show some of it appears smaller but the rear end now really looks bigger width wise. It's a beautiful car but so is the 2014. It's a give and take I guess.
I'm going to hold out for the '15 next year around...
To chime in: by saying you have "no bills" do you mean that you live with your parents? If so, channel that money towards a place of your own. The freedom is incredible! Much better than any car. You already have a relatively new car if it's only a 2008. Put your money towards either 1. school...
Could anyone possibly chime in about the "snow" setting on the toggle switch. Do you think it just dials back the throttle response. Something I did all my life living in Colorado? It rarely ever snows much here in ABQ but when it does and sticks it's usually pretty icy. But nothing I haven't...
Ok, I get the 72 month financing however how much down? I thought 20% was the norm. Especially considering insurance Actual Cash Value if the car is totaled (doesn't have to be your fault). ACV is a LOT less than what we will pay for a new purchase. That's why the 20% down is suggested.
I...
