Yeap...but the phone and cable worked on every other car including a 2021 mustang 301A, a 2020 mustsng 401A, a 2020 F150 401a, a 2020 Audi S6, A 2022 Nissan Frontier, A 2022 Lexus Rx350 and another 2021 Mustang 401a (the one currently in my driveway).
As far as I know....the mustang this thread...
I never did that in my Audi S6 (450hp AWD, AWS) or RCF (472hp with TqVs) etc......
.....Unless they cut me off and then slowed back down.....
To be honest though.....its extremely rare that a muscle car driver will cut you off and slow way down. It's the V6 challengers and camry etc...
AE?
Resurrecting this thread to say that with a 6 speed manual doing a lot of down shifting in track mode.....you'll likely draw way more attention from dumbasses in 20 year old trucks and ricers than you wanted.....(It's annoying when they pull up beside you and start revving not realizing you...
I once had HIDs that kept going out...we couldn't find it until the guy decided to take my mustang through a field an force the issue by bumping it around a bunch.. Time to identify was around 6 months.
Had another one with a total electronic issue......guy who put in after market stereo...
As somone who never bought a mustang with a factory wheel upgrade (always went after market)....I was a bit surprised that the 20x9 upgrades cone with 265s on all 4 corners when you consider the fact that a pp1 comes w 255s front and 275s rear.
Granted they are Good year F1 all season...
Yea I am sure they will have it fixed within a few weeks up to however long it takes the part to come in. Was it worth it for the 20 inch wheels and 401A? (who knows?).
I have been to a couple meetings back when I had my 18 but of course have not been back since it was rear-ended and totaled.
I don't think they will Lemon it, I think mostly likely they will replace the APM and either that will fix it or they will eventually track down the problem once they...
Thanks for the comments everyone. I didn't mean for this to become a spectacle but thought it was interesting nonetheless.
This is likely the final update. After Fairway ford mentioned that "no ETA" was running anywhere from 30 days to 90 days and (sometimes up to nearly 180 days...) and...
Jan 24th Update. I dropped the car off at 8:30 am as requested. At 11:15 I got a text saying the part did not arrive and they no longer have an ETA. Date of arrival completely removed from order.
I asked them to send a shuttle to pick me up.
Edit: The parts guy at my local Fairway Ford...
Plus I assume the lighter overall weight of a non-pp manual and lower unsprung mass on the 18 inch wheels (i think the 18 inch premiums weigh around 21lbs) and smaller discs would actually make a tourer a little faster than an auto pp1/pp2 on a 20 to 80 highway pull which I am more likely to...
Jan 21 2nd UPdate.
Shout out to Dick Smith in Columbia SC as they did just offer to buy it back no questions asked (the only miles on the car are driving it home and then driving it back and forth to dealerships).
They want me to go ahead and get the computer replaced Monday here in Augusta...
Yea. The 400a has the similar looking system but minus the Nav that the 401a and the 301a and Bullet have.
I do generally enjoy using AA on my systems though because I can access my Podcasts and amazon music as well as nav all from the same interface (and a few other news aps). Is it...
Having not owned a mustang for a couple years.... I just did the same double take at my hood the other day when it was doing this... for a second I was alarmed and then I remembered.....
I have had a 65 289, an 05 V6. A 10 GT Track Pack, an 11 California Special 6spd, an 11 GT 500 w svt package, an 18 Auto 301a and now a 2021 400a Spd manual
The 10 only got traded because I didn't know about the coyote when I got it and the GT/CS only got traded because it would not shift in...
Phone and cord combo for android auto: Works in other mustangs, works in my 2020 F150. Worked in a 2022 Nissan Frontier i had for a couple days. Works in my wifes 2022 Lexus RX 350. Worked in my 2020 Audi S6.
That is what we are going to do and I hope it is that simple. For reference. I had a 2010 with HIDs and the lights would trip a fuse and cause a cascade of failures (can't remember what they were)....we initially thought it was a bad fuse, then a light and a number of things... Finally the...

Ford as has advised them to replace the "AP Module" and explained that is a computer chip inside the head unit that deals with a host of tasks such as the auto climate control, Synch, nav (if equipped), android auto, and several other interior tasks.
I got the feeling that the way it...
Jan 20 Update.
Dealership now says they can't get apple car play or android auto to work. They state they cannot flash the system because it just tells them they already have the most current version. States they have never seen this problem before.
Their response indicated to me that maybe...
