Have had Valentines in my, and my wife’s, cars for decades. By far the best engineered and supported detector. The quality of the engineering is unmatche, and the inhouse staff is just terrific. Friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and does a great job assisting with technical and operational...
The drainage gullies on cross streets is really tricky. On my first visit to LA decades ago I drove across intersecting streets at the same speed I was used to in NYC. Big mistake. Don’t know how many rental car chassis’s I dented. Thank goodness they didn’t have front spoilers.
Never mind...
Looking forward to the October 20, 2024 Mustang event, Mustang On The Mountain, at Palmer Sports car track in Palmer, MA. Weather is looking perfect. Clear sky’s and warm temperatures.
Past events were terrific and this one will be also. Always fun to see all the Mustang variations over the...
Surprised that I did not receive a GTD allocation the other day. Especially given that I’m a SAAC member, have two 1965 Shelby GT350’s, one being a very rare early hand built model, a 2019 Shelby GT350, and a new F350 pickup.
Wondering if part of their decision making is based upon connections...
Certainly very surprised that I just received notice that I was not granted an allocation. Given that I’m a SAAC member, I have two 1965 Shelby GT350’s (both judged by SAAC Gold Concours), a 2019 Shelby GT350, and a newish Ford Super Duty F350 pickup truck.
Guess allocations are not really...
Generally does not happen in Europe.
We’ve got so many uncivilized and ignorant people in this country it’s unbelievable. Very little respect for others, or even for themselves.
I have a perfect 2019 Shelby GT350, Kona blue/white stripes. Always kept in my dehumidified garage along with my two 1965 Shelby GT350’s, amongst other cars. If you are only looking for an R model then so be it. Otherwise you can contact me at [email protected].
Before the haters get going here are the facts. I have a 2019 GT350 and multiple concours 1965 GT350’s, and a 2024 Corvette Z06 and a Corvette IMSA/TransAm race car.
I haven’t seen weight and hp specs on the GTD. Can’t see it as a viable product against a 2025 Corvette ZR1 at similar weight )...
Always have the same problem with FedEx. I try and avoid them at all costs.
Have much better experience with the Post Office. Frequently cheaper and they can find addresses with no problem.
Big mistake to decide a C8 Z06 performance by its hp rating. I realize you’ll not believe it until you see the 20 minute YouTube video explaining in technical detail how the Z06 achieves it’s capability to beat the 2019 ZR1 w/750 hp.
By the way, how about the forthcoming Mustang GTD at the same...
Classic European driving gloves are very useful. The better ones are made from thin high quality leather and are quite soft. I guess they originated when European sports cars had polished wood steering wheels and the cars had manual steering. They look great, feel great, and do the job...
Have XPel on my 2016 sports car, red, for 8 years now. Looks identical to the day it was applied.
Absolutely critical is who does the job. I travelled 100 miles to one of the best east of the Mississippi.
I've used 5 mm spacers on many cars, i.e. 2019 GT350, C7 Corvette Z06. Never a problem and always used stock lugs. Of course as you go longer other factors become critical.
