  1. Replacement Battery

One of my vehicles is a ‘97 Tacoma, 29 years old  . It has a 2.7 L engine PS & PW…..that’s all. It takes a 700 CCA Battery. Meanwhile my Mustang which is loaded with factory electronics takes a stock 590-600 CCA battery. WTH. What are these engineers thinking. Is this for cost cutting...

This is a much talked about issue on this forum regarding Steeda springs. I get an occasionl clunk when I hit a small depression in the road. 9. Winter Storage Hood Prop Suggestions/Advice

For a clean looking setup don’t use alligator clips. Hard wire the tender and run the wire either out the side of the hood ( carefully) or run the wire out next to th headlight. Then you could put a cover on the car.
  10. I can't unsee this now

Going to be frank. The s550 dash is better looking than the s650. It’s a Mustang. It should look like the instrument panel in a WWII Mustang fighter plane. It’s called nostalgia. The s650 dash looks like it should be in a Star Wars X- Wing fighter.
  11. HOW TO MAKE MY MUSTANG SOUND BETTER

Have a '15 GT stock resonator with Roush Axle backs. The Roush mufflers are a straight through design. In the old days this would be called a glass pack. Sound is great.

It's a good policy to do the following with EITHER a Manual or AT. 1) Keep foot on brake 2) Engage Emergency brake. 3.) Take foot off brake to allow e-brake to take the load. 4) Place in gear......either 1st or park whichever is applicable. Just a simple task but It's amazing how many people do...

  16. Podium Place Car Meet

Looks like it was a nice show. I find it interesting that most Mustangs sold outside the U.S are the GT V8 while most sold "IN" the U.S are 4 bangers. I catch a lot of FLAK for this but to me it's not REALLY a Mustang if it doesn't have a V8. And don't get me started on the Mustang Mach E. It's...
  17. OEM Battery replacement

Yup, same here a AAA 600 CCA battery which NAPA sells. Had to call AAA for a jump start but actually needed a new battery. Service guy said that from his experience, the AGM's don't last very long in cars. I would still like to find a battery in the 700-750 CCA range. Any ideas let me know!!
