I thought I would drop by my old hangout and post some updated pics of our Mustang replacement. We purchased a 2018 Jayco 21QB to get back into camping after a 25 yr break. I donāt think the Mustang would have pulled it. :)
This is our 4th RAM. In fact, we traded our 2014 in on the Mustang. My wife really missed her truck so it was certain we would eventually get another one. Here is the one we traded for the Stang.

We may trade off the Mustang next week but if we donāt, I think I am doing this switch install. The thought had crossed my mind in the past, but just let it pass on by. :)
Since us āvert owners do not have a rear shelf, what mod is recommended if I want to clean up this upper bass / low midrange issue? BTW, I have the Shaker system with sub in trunk.

Our last 1000+ mile trip, we averaged around 27 at 80+ mph. We are headed back to Texas first weekend in November so we will see how it does. It will be 500+ miles one way plus some side trips. The worst thing is driving the interstates now is like driving a obstacle course. I have never seen so...
Never tried pushing the pin out. It is an easy reversal with a connector and I have the connector and crimp tool already. That said, I cannot ever imagine wanting to reconnect that POS speaker. :)
Count me in the āI donāt like the soundā group. Sounds like a bunch mad hornets in a tin can, not to my liking. I like the sound of my stock Mustang over any Porsche. I never liked the high pitch āscreamerā exhaust.
