    Pull the head, make sure all of the cylinders are not damaged. Coolant into the combustion chamber is not good for the long term health or compression. If you go the head gasket route, take it to a machine shop and have it planed. If you have a few bucks and the cylinders are not damaged...

    Biggest and easiest upgrade is a much better set of tires. They can literally improve handling, grip, and ride with very little effort.

    I’d think it is a harness problem. Jack it up get under it and follow the wiring harness from the cats forward and look for breaks. Check the grounds as well.

    It was 55 here today. Took the car out on a couple of errands and then gave it a good wash. It’s not my DD, it does not see salt. Looking forward to Spring.

    10w-30 is not going to hurt anything. The engines are not that fragile. Drive it, enjoy it. Next oil change put the 5w-30.
