Yes you are missing one very important thing. You can’t actually “turn it into one.” You can change out every single part and calibration you want, and make it functionally identical but if the VIN and/or Ford’s records don’t identify the car as a HP car, it isn’t “one” and will never be one...

Two things you can pretty much count on about domestic new cars: It is expected that technology will increase every year, and they never get cheaper without some type of decontenting. I doubt this will ever change.

Which problems were those, specifically? I had and have several 20-23s, both GTs and Mach 1 A10s and don’t remember a pervasive or characteristic problem.
