This has worked on Fords going back into the 2000's, my 2004 Marauder will do it. Pretty sure my 1996 Bronco will also do it.
As stated above, foot to the floor (all the way to the floor, not half way, not 3/4) hit the start button, let it crank and after 10-15 seconds you should build some oil...
This forum really needs a like 'Carlisle Master thread' sticky every year or something, I see the thread stuck in the mid-atlantic section is from 2020
I've gone every year since 2011, the show is mainly mustangs but you can find other Fords if you actually walk around the showfield (last year...
This is the pig tail I used. Unlike some in this thread, I did not hack off every wire and splice in the entire new pigtail. I depinned the factory harness, replaced only the burnt wire, added in the ground wire and spliced in the repair.

Yeah, it's probably super melted. I haven't dealt with this (yet) on my Mustang but I had to fix it on my 16 F150 last year, some guys on the F150 forum had plugs melted so bad they had to hack it off piece by piece. Mine was pretty stuck, I had to pull pretty hard to get it to finally break...
I have a friend who used L&M for his gen 2 coyote with good things to say, they've been around a long while. I plan on having them do a rebuild on a set of 4v mod motor heads I have in the future.
Did you ship it over there and back and not even get to drive it?
Whatever the case that really sucks to hear, I always wanted to ship my E39 m5 over there as I felt like it'd been the absolute perfect car to drive in the city and out in the country. I was interested to hear how your...
When I lived in NJ I never ran a front plate on the Mustang (told the dealer do not drill or I won't accept the car) or my Bronco (broke the mount off on the trail and never put it back on)
I never got bothered in the Mustang, I got a ticket in the Bronco one time by a state trooper but it was...
Can't say I ever knew about this. I have Apex VS5's with PS4S tires and my tires didn't lose anything even sitting all winter.
I would just go with a bead sealant, that is usually what shops use for old wheels with corroded beads that don't seal so well.
They updated from orange to yellow, however they are safe to mix. So even if you don't get all of the orange out of your system, the yellow mixing with it won't cause an issue.
Didn't those have halogen projectors? I'm not surprised running overboosted HID bulbs caused an issue.
@G.T. has already covered it, a projector, just like a reflector housing, is based around one type of light source. The focal point is tuned around where the light source is sitting from that...
I've never held one in my hand (I've worked with the E55, countless Morimoto MH1's, FX-R 1.1's and MD2S') but comparing the bolt pattern on the bowl to the conversion brackets Lightwerkz sells to mate G5 projectors to RX350 housings, I'd say it's a match...
@G.T. here ya go, if these posts are to be believed, the OEM projectors are RX350 based.

Thanks for that link, I hadn't seen that thread before. I'll do some digging and see if I can find where I came up with the info on the factory projectors being essentially RX350's.
@G.T. I looked into this a while ago but didn't see any drop in replacements. Truth be told 99% of people on this site aren't going to speak the lingo when it comes to retrofitting.
IIRC (and I could be wrong, I looked this up a long time ago) the projectors in the 15-17 housings are...
