I have the same unit in my car. You have to use the supplied wire pig tail and jumper on the back on the unit. No instructions came with the unit for this. The wire was supplies. I got mine on Amazon the seller had a Tech number in the box. I have a base model no climate control.
ESS Forum members,
Local guy selling an ESS G4R kit. 10 rib set up, balancer, pulleys. Anyone heard of this kit? ESS sold it to him for testing? A friend may be interested, but never heard of a G4R.
BTW,
Whipple will NOT give out CFM ratings on their units. Just got a message back from Whipple's GM and they wont disclose the CFM/MAP of their units. Not sure why.
I've seen @651MYGarage on youtube ESS G3R 100MM make 950whp. The ESS G4 flows 100 CFM more than the G3R. That cant bee making 200whp more on 100cfm of air. Can any ESS make 26-28PSI Boost on a coyote?
This is why I'm a fan of @DRP Motorsports. I'm making over 1k and the car drives like stock. Get a tuner that cares about their customers and not their clout.
My First SC Roush2650 E85 tune with a 2.7 pulley made 13psi boost and 775whp. Car ran a 5.2 60-130 (147mph trap speed). 10R80 car. Fast Foward my 3.8 Whipple on E85 20* 3.5 pulley made 950whp. A few months later install 3.25 pulley same 20* and 1045whp.
Sounds like S650 Whipple tune
I would have thought 14 psi E85 3.0 Whipple would be in the 800whp range. Lots of factors in dyno readings. Go test 60-130 or 1/4 trap for a better indecation of improvement.
