  1. 2015 GT350R sells at Mecum Auction for $210K

Slight change of continuity; found the 66 GT350 conv. photos, as well as the uber-unicorn...the only real Super Snake from 1967:
  2. Motor oil supply tightening up

Not only is the most popular Ford oil filter in short supply, the FL500, but so is the PF63 AC Delco, which for all purposes is the exact same filter. The NU2Z filter is a replacement for the 500, so there is an out but the new filter is longer. Also, good luck finding ULV transmission fluid...
  3. 2015 GT350R sells at Mecum Auction for $210K

I agree w/PP001 that the carry over cars are quite special, and carry a value over 'regular' '66s. There is a very good German Mustang website that has a section dedicated to not only the four convertibles but also the two never built from that batch as well as the continuation cars Shelby...
  4. 2015 GT350R sells at Mecum Auction for $210K

The difference on the 2015s compared to a 2016 and later will mirror the difference between a 1965 and a 1966. The 66s do bring strong money, while the 65s bring extreme money, and pile on even more for an R model in either generations. And none of those came with AC, except the unicorn level 66...
  5. Corvette ZR1 vs. Mustang GTD Track Battle

Let's do this again when the GTD Competition comes around.
  6. Baton Rouge, La. Robinson Brothers show 05/02/2026

Sorry to be tardy posting up, weather should be great. Fee entry and food. T-Shirts for entrants.
  7. Drag Race: S550 vs. All Other Mustang Generations

Nope. the film car(s) were just a Highland Green GT 390 4 speed car. Never built as or sold as a 'Bullitt' at the time. Scott Hoag, who did the '03/'04 Mach 1 did the 2000 Bullitt show car. If you read the book about him and the car development, no one though it would be the success it was, and...
  8. Drag Race: S550 vs. All Other Mustang Generations

It's absolutely possible, but in a vintage Shelby GT-350? Talk about collectable suicide. Since the host was such a car guy that he blew it on the 4bbl. comment, I tend to think he just flat blew it again.
  9. Drag Race: S550 vs. All Other Mustang Generations

The '66 has a 4 speed gearbox, he says? Winder what that automatic thing sticking up out of the floor was, then?
  10. The Dark Horse Isn’t THAT Over Priced

    For fun; cars I've actually owned: 1969 Mustang Grande' 428 Cobra Jet, auto, air, tilt, vinyl top $4,648.08 1982 Mustang GT 5.0 PW,PL, Leather, louvers, non-TRX $11,500.00 2003 Mustang Mach 1, stick car w/IUP pkg. $29,900.00 2013 Mustang Boss 302 w/Recaro seats & Torsen $44,990.00 I've had...
  11. Which GT350/GT350R is the most OVERRATED?

Drive one, you'll get it...especially if it's an R model
  12. Why “Mach 1” Was the Perfect Name - Not Boss 302

In 69 all Boss 9s had the Mach 1 style interior, the 70s had semi deluxe or deluxe (Mach 1 style). The Boss 302s could have pretty much anything available interior wise.
  13. Why “Mach 1” Was the Perfect Name - Not Boss 302

Mach 1: mean street machine, drag racing, styling. Big block beast Boss 302: Handling. Basic small block performance
  14. Which GT350/GT350R is the most OVERRATED?

Really, those are gray on purpose? I thought those were "paint delete" optioned cars 🚗 that you maybe get some kind of credit because all they did was clear over the primer. 😲
  15. Which GT350/GT350R is the most OVERRATED?

Have you ever owned and maintained a black car? But the heritage edition is a close second for its "lovely" white finish.
  16. Shelby American Promo Mach 1

Unusual, but looks like fun. There was one actual "Sheleen" built in '07, but the lawyers got wind of it and killed off any chances of more that happening again. Roush did it's stuff on one SN95 Mach 1 back in the day, so I'd like to see another mash up of something similar.
  17. 2026 Mustang Dark Horse SC (S650) - Official Specs, Photos, Videos

In addition to the Enzo, the Ferrari name is on each and every car coming out of Modena. Ford never did a Carroll, but they really haven't needed to.
