Yes, I had that issue on one of mine after about 13 months. DD warrantied it and I'm about nine months out and no more issues. DD has always been good about warranty replacements when it's been needed, in my experience.

Yes, even the smaller ones (12"x2.5") do a good job of cutting down rasp and drone, and bring the sound level back down to acceptable levels without making the exhaust too quiet. Too quiet was the Magnaflow TruX, although in all fairness I didn't give it enough time to burn in either.

Probably not. I thought at the time it was something specific/related to the Whipple but seeing your post regarding an NA tune makes me think that wasn't the case.

Learned something new today! Just FYI the nuts for the taillights are 10mm, and you can use a 4mm socket to make adjustments to the studs once the nuts are loosened off.

Get two people - one to use a rubber mallet to "tap" on the exhaust somewhere to make it replicate the noise, and the other to use their hands to locate and temporarily stop the rattle. Had to do that on my 2015 and it ended up being the primary tubes on my headers ever so slightly touching...
