Would be interesting to know what the average delivery KM's are to see the variation.
Is there a thread that tracks this ?
Most people I've spoken to or cars I've seen have between 7-15 km reporting.
I'm not so sure it wasn't popular over in the states and the rest of the world.
This may not be accurate, but it's interesting results in any case.

The reality is, these colours were not dropped due to popularity. Car...
In Australia, I think its popularity or lack of was due to the fact that it was poorly represented in sales brochures, web simulators and the difficulty of being able to capture, in photos, the true essence of this Colour.
I have to admit myself, I would never have considered Guard if not for...
Spotted this pearl today while drooling over mine going through its pre-delivery phase at Berwick Ford.
My Sales Assistant - Sean (best rep I could have asked for) mentioned it may be up for sale in a week or so, apparently the dealer principles personal car. V8 GT Auto in Guard!
Love the way...
The stripes can hardly be seen, really only from particular views.
The car was filthy dirty, so that made the stripes even less apparent.
Will be interesting to see once it's detailed
That's Guard in an overcast day.
It's a real camelion of a color, love it especially in the sun.
Being a discontinued color, I'd be real keen to know if any more Guard
Cars get delivered after this one to Aust.
The Eagle has landed. Test drove her today, Just around the block and she felt absolutely sweet as. Checked the car over well and all seems perfect apart from a few shoe skuffs on the door trim, no big deal
Mine got delivered tonight! prixcar updated tonight around 8pm give or take an hour. It did the same thing for me last night, changed from scheduled to ready for despatch.
I never seen a condition report at any stage of the delivery. Has anyone else had a car delivered without a condition report?
Mines now showing pickup date as priority 3, 06/09 with a estimated delivery of 12/09.
I suspect the estimate delivery date of 12/09 is just a guess. The pickup date would make it a 9 day turn around or 7 business days.
Spoke with my dealer who said, they used to take about 10 days from dock to dealer. Lately they have been tuning that time down with some deliverys turned around in 5-7 days.
This thread has been amazing, the detail in tracking beyond any other and for me it's made the last 30 odd days a full...
Looking at the boat schedule it suggests the boat "Tarago" will arrive in Melbourne 26th Aug. It also appears Tarago was scheduled to leave 17 th July so there has been a delay there. Dealer delivery date is scheduled for 10 Sept so good chance I am actually in this one! Fingers crossed
Thanks for that Paul,
I'm still bam confussed as to why on the 11 June when entering my VIN I received a positive response. It was as if the car had been scanned for entry, I assumed it meant it was to be loaded on this boat.
Can some help explain? My car was built on the 19th May.
On the 11th June I put into track and trace my VIN number and finally to my suprise I received a positive result. I was convinced she was loaded onto the Tarago. I Didn't really understand what the data was about but at least I didn't get...
Finally booked on this one! I have a discontinued colour (Gaurd) so my car was pulled into an early build Schedule. My car was built almost 2 months ago May 19. It's been sitting at port for quite some time. I kinda knew it would sit for a while after confirming a Dealer ETA in Melbourne 26 August.
GDay
Thought it may be interesting if we kept record of the last Aussie delivered 6G Mustangs to be built in decommissioned colors (or at least those of which we know). The ones that were built before the June 02/16 cut off.
Only Aussie delivered cars
Only decommissioned colors
Deep Impact...
