I had my roush phase 2 put on when I had 275 all seasons, switched to 275 ps4s, now the 305 555rii. So I went from being able to blow them off at 80mph in 3rd to hooking 50/50 in first gear. What tire do you plan on running next?
I have ps4s fronts at 30psi, run the 555rii at 28psi in 80 degree weather. They’ll lose about a psi every 10 degrees it drops. I’ve been pretty happy with mine at about the same power level. Why don’t you like them?
I know man. I have Michelin front, nitto rear, irritating but for a good cause lol. If money is tight, steeda stocks those 555r2’s and does affirm so you can make monthly payments on them. Too bad we’re not closer, I have a set of 255/275 ps4s’s I’m trying to sell.
You don’t have to have the drag pack to run drag radials. Nitto makes them in 305/30/20 which would be just fine on your new 20x11’s. Also the Michelin ps4s will blow the pzero’s out of the water in the grip department.
If you plan to boost I’d just go ahead and put drag radials on. My nitto 555r2’s have been great, hear lots of good things about Mickey Thompson street SS’s too. Michelin pilot sport 4s are good if you are concerned about tread life.
Nobody has mentioned yet, leave on the last yellow light, don’t wait until you see green. Each bulb is .500 seconds. Also common curtesy to not hit your second stage light until the other guy has his first lit.
Stock clutch with a roush phase 2, car has 33k, supercharger went on at 24k, I’ve had on the strip once since the supercharger and was launching at 4700rpm on hot 555r2’s at 20psi and it felt fine. There has been 2-3 times though where I was shifting quickly 3rd-4th, think I got back on the...
Stick or auto? I did the steeda catalog in the rear, plus g force axles. Highly recommend a set of drag radials, I went 305 nitto 555r2, lot of others like Mickey Thompson street ss too. There’s a huge difference in traction between those and 275 Michelin ps4s
I put 265/40 19 Michelin alpin 5’s on my stock pp1 wheels and ordered some sve 19x10 and 19x11 for summer tires. Really like the alpin 5 tires, decent dry traction, more than the as3+ I ran previously and much better in snow.
I’m more into drag racing and roll racing so I’m wanting those quick bursts of max cooling. I also drive with the windows down between 60-90 degrees so I want to retain the heat exchanger when I’m not running ac/defrost. I definitely plan on going with interchiller, just looking at killer...
Look forward to seeing pictures!
I want to do an interchiller while retaining the heat exchanger also. Plan on using one of these

I relived the spring pressure using the jack method, it wasn’t difficult and didn’t make me nervous. I did have to undo the sway bar links to get enough clearance though. I used a spring compressor to assemble the new struts and spring.
Has anyone with a 6 speed swapped clutches to something aftermarket? I see roush says to use only oem clutches and others will throw codes. Really like to go with an rxt, will I just need a custom tune to keep the cel off?
I run 305/35 19 nitto 555 r2 on my manual roush phase 2. On the street I run 28psi, rare occasions if I roll into it I still have traction by the time I reach wot in 1st, usually grab second moderately and it sticks about 80% of the time. Haven’t ran them in severe rain but the wet roads feel...
I’ve only ever parked my car once due to snow and it was because the plows made it so high at the end of my driveway I was afraid of ripping the chin spoiler off. I run Michelin alpin 5’s 265/40 19 and they’ve been great. I feel better in my car than my gf’s awd Durango in the snow and mine is a...
