You're absolutely correct, there aren't many cars in the price range that offers as much performance and tech for around $40k. That is one of the main reason why I chose the '16 GT.
However, I don't believe my next car will be in the same $40k price range. I apologize if I wasn't clear.
This is the first and the last Mustang I'll ever own. I don't see my self getting another one.
There are many manufacturer's that make better cars, compared to the Mustang. I want to try as many of them as possible.
You're suppose to rev back, but they'll laugh at you if you try with stock exhaust.
I don't bother to rev, I wave instead. I have stock exhaust & I like my car quiet... it helps when I'm blasting down the back roads at illegal speeds, nobody can hear me coming or going.
Mine is stock, minus the Michelin Pilot Super Sports.
Paid straight cash in March of 2016. Has about 40K miles on the clock. Driven everyday and plenty of road trips.
I stopped modding cars in my 20s. Now I'm almost 40 and don't have the need or the wants to mess with the car. I put gas in...
Looks like this is a common issue on the new aluminum hoods from 2015-2017. My 2016 Mustang had the same issue on the hood. Most of the new Explorers with the aluminum hood has the same issues.
Ford sent me a new hood, and my dealer took my car to bodyshop to get it painted & installed. Also...
Thanks for the input. However, I have 0 plans to boost my car or mod it beyond PP3. I think PP3 will satisfy my need for little more power at the top end until I'm done with the Mustang. I personally won't work on my car anymore, so I like the fact that I can take PP3 to my dealership and...
If I was a buyer..
I wouldn't pay more than $20-$22k on a 4 year old base GT that's been in a collision.
Take all that aftermarket parts off... I may pay up to $22-23k without the aftermarket parts
I get more compliments from the ladies compared to guys. Most guys will just stare... ladies will compliment.
I do live in a college town where 2/3 of the student population are young ladies, and they send me kind words on my Mustang.
My previous experience with GM/Chevy makes me absolutely hate their service/warranty department. I suppose every manufacturers have bad ones, but the way they treated me and my claims left the worst taste in my mouth.
I'm not going to say that my Mustang was issue free, it had to go in few...
car was in neutral with e-brake up? Maybe you forgot to park it in gear?
I've noticed my Mustang roll down the driveway when I first bought it. I later found out that I didn't pull the e-brake all the way up.
I'm so glad you were able to retrieve your car without any issue.
I never understood the idea of buying a mass production car and complaining about the depreciating value.
It's not a collectable or exotic that would appreciate. Why even worry about something like that?
