Thank you again for this. I made these updates yesterday evening and the system is working much better. Only issue I have now is that when using the navigation, it seems the car doesn't know how to say numbers. For example, instead of saying "I-91 South" or "1-84 West", it says "I South" or "I...
Thank you. Maybe I'm a dummie but the "load some as-built files" steps is where I was stuck. I click "Load Files" and nothing happens. If I click browse it opens up file explorer, not sure what I'd do there. Maybe something happened when I installed the program and something is missing.
Anyway...
Hey there. Thank you for the suggestion but I found that page a while ago and wasn't able to get too far. I think its mostly because I am not sure how to work the As Built explorer.
I was able to find all of the as built codes here

I am just not...
Hi All. Quick question... I swapped in a Sync 3 radio that came from a GT350. Everything is working well except the door chimes radio volume and navigation prompt volume are all very quiet. To here music I need to have the volume at least around 20 before I can really hear it, and can barely...
It should be the opposite, no? Colder air is denser which requires more fuel to burn. I was under the impression that, all else being equal, fuel economy should increase when its warmer out.
Its a shame the V6 didn't get the performance pack option. The good news is that a lot of the PP parts especially suspension, brakes can be swapped over to the V6 easily, and can be found pretty cheap here. I had a V6 and really liked the car, and I'd happily be driving it today if I had not...
I'm sorry if this is covered elsewhere in this thread...
I did a Sync 3 swap on my base mustang and it had 2.2 loaded. It recently did an update to 2.3. Sounds like there's no way to get 3.0 without uploading from a usb which is fine. Any major differences between V2 and V3? The only thing...
Yup.
Drove the car again this morning and very happy with the result. getting on it in the 3k-4k range puts a bigger smile on my face than it used to. for $100 its a no brainer as long as you won't miss a tiny decline above 6k.
Overall its annoying but not terrible. I would definitely recommend a second set of hands. Getting the clips/wires at the back of the manifold would have been much more difficult if I was doing it solo. Its also not a bad idea to snap a few pictures of the stock manifold before it comes out...
Well I ended up installing the F150 manifold last night. As mentioned above the car is otherwise stock (just an RTR axleback) and seat of the pants it definitely feels like it added a little torque in the midrange. Nothing earth-shattering of course but for the $100 it cost me I'm happy. Will...
Question for you guys. I ordered an F150 manifold in search of a little extra torque. I hardly ever go north of 5500 rpm so the slight loss over 6k rpm is irrelevant to me. That said the car is otherwise stock engine wise and will stay that way for some time. I may have missed it, but does the...
Thanks for the reply. I'll have to figure out how to find that. I've done a tiny bit of research into the as-built updates but haven't spent enough time with it. All I need to do is fix the volume issue and get the drive modes set up and she'll be good to go!
Hi All. Question for you... I recently installed a second hand Sync 3 swap kit originally purchased from OEMRadio. Everything came out great with one minor exception. Since doing the install the volume of the door chime decreased drastically and I can barely hear navigation prompts. Any idea why...
Just wanted to give you all a heads up that I am selling silver GT trim. I used it on my V6 when I had it and thought it was a nice upgrade from the black trim the car came with. Let me know if anyone has any questions about this swap or is interested in purchasing :)...
