Understood. They had an MSRP of $48k and some dealers let them go for less once the 2013's hit the ground.
40k would be fine for someone who wasn't going to drive it and only put minimal miles on it over the next few years. DD and racking up the miles on that car would put it considerably...
I don't know how they are going to pull of that hood and look, as the stock hood does not overlay the grill of the 15'. According to that picture the hood would close over the inside portion of the head lights creating a shadow/brow over the light. If not, that hood is going to be very tapered...
Odd that he would describe it as " i have a nice red and black boss 302", but post an avatar pic of a LS. I still believe that $40k for a 12' LS is high with 20k miles. If he drives average miles over the next year, that car will have 30k+ miles and not be worth anywhere near what he paid for it.
IMO, that price is very high for the miles. There was just a 10k mile CO Boss sold locally for $35k.
I too was considering the Boss a few months back to get me through the first year of the S550 production, and wait to see what SVT will be releasing.
I hope that they don't ruin the lines of the hood by throwing a vent in the center like above. Isn't that the reason for the fender vents? I would love to see the removal of the existing GT vents and a smooth rising aggressive cowl.
CO is a very hard color to capture in a photograph. I had a CO Terminator and there was absolutely no mistaking the color. The same can be said for the CO Boss, as it is definitely orange and no way close to red.
I am actually torn on my decision between CO and IS. I love the pop of CO, but...
That is average depreciation and looks like you drove the car for a year at the cost of $3200. Not bad in my opinion. After the three year mark, they tend to level off depending on condition and miles.
The average depreciation for 3yrs is about 50% +/- depending on condition and miles.
