My Color and ambient lighting are two different things . My Color lets you change the color of your gauges in the dash . Ambient lighting is only for the colors pertaining to the footwell areas,cup holders, and console bin .

I'm thinking it's at that angle because the door is open . I know when my door is open on my 2014 my pony light is at the same angle the mirror is . The light is under the mirror so as the door moves so does the pony .
