Black is hard to beat. Gives it a nice clean look, fills in the wheel well (illusion wise) and God forbid any curb rash happens all you need is some black touch up paint 👍💯
I was facing the same delima and I just pulled the trigger and did it. Its probably best thing to do. Now, my car isn't a daily driver it does consume about 20% more fuel I believe is the %.
That's pretty bizarre. I guess they want to control the entire outcome even though install and tuning is 2 different things although the shop/tuning should coincide.
Good luck!
Fuel system asap to support E85 and get it re-tuned by Wengered Performance. You can pulley down after to a max size that supports a safe HP output. E85 changes the car completely 💯
I had a similar issue after the new clutch install. Funny enough I was never warned about the codes or the re-learn process but I knew ahead of time and expected it.
Few miles driving and the codes came up so I took back to the shop next day and told them about it (I was met with a "the crank...
I guess what I am also asking is if the tuner sets you up woth the E85 tune wouldn't he set certain parameters for safety in case you do get subpar E85 fuel? So testing or viewing the E85 quality is more for peace of mind but at the end of the day a proper tune will adjust accordingly? Would it not?
Reading this has prompt me to ask the question about running a sensor (Fore Innovations fuel system) to monitor E85 in real time on a gauge. Is this a good practice? And what kit is available to do this? Id prefer something like this than to test e85 with every fill up or on occasion. Not trying...
Yea that's it. The one I had and came with my car was a durable rubber oppose to the plastic. @SolarFlare has or had the MAK and tested it to have made some gains. He can probably help. 👍
Just use the Procharger oem. I had an inlet mesh on it and it kept falling off. Went back to the oem (I got the hard plastic standard carb hat I believe they call it and new fliter) I felt as if the car was more responsive and may have been due to the air that was going thru was more uniformed...
3rd is a nice gear but 4rth is even crazier 🫣 I think that's the 1:1 ration gear. 3rd gets there faster. If you have the road (which you dont) 4rth gear is nasty!
