I sold my daily driver with 57,000 miles on the original brakes. The last time I had it inspected and based on the brake pad wear at that time we estimated that the brake pads would last 150 K miles if nothing changed. I’m not sure how long the rotors will last.
IIRC, when my 2019 engine was cold and I let off the gas, the mix stayed around 14 and I got burbles with stock exhaust. When warm, letting off gas, it went to 20 and no burbles.
My dealer did not look up the spec or pull the stick and left me 2 quarts down with a dry stick. I checked it in the parking lot and got 2 free quarts of oil.
Great advice and exactly what I was going to write when I saw this thread, after 29 years in claims. I would have first contacted the trucking company's loss department to let them know I thought the insurance company was acting in bad faith and given them one day.
The Auto check is on the dealer website but shows no engines replaced. The first owner had it a bit over 2 years and it was auctioned with 5,514 miles on it. Has had 5 owners.

Traded it to Driveway Subaru in Moon Twp near Pittsburgh airport in June with 57k on it.
It has a 0 deductible full ESP with almost 2 years and 39k miles left on it. It can be transferred within 6 months of the sale in late June, with a letter from me. The dealer was uncooperative in...
I put on a set of 20 inch OEM takeoffs and I want to sell my old rims locally. I don’t think the tires have much value with the shoulder wear although I did swap 2 of them to the outside. I’m mainly wondering about the 20 inch OEM rims that came on the car. I’m not ready to list them yet. I...
Only I as the owner of the contract can transfer the warranty, and only straight to a private buyer.
(as previously noted, does not matter if car goes to that buyer through a dealer.) All the buyer needs to initiate a transfer is a copy of the letter from me okaying the transfer which he/she can...
I called Ford Protect and was advised that is is absolutely transferable upon receipt of the transfer letter signed by me and submitted by the buyer or me with a check for the transfer amount. His computer shows it is $75, while my contract shows it to be $40. He could not explain the...
The Subaru dealer is insisting that I can’t transfer the contract outside a direct private party sale, per their business mgr who worked financing at Ford. . I did not see any wording to this effect in the contract.
