I had topped mine off without bleeding it and kept heating a gurgling sound but it never actually leaked. After bleeding it the gurgle went away and it’s been ok since.
Sorry, I honestly don’t recall looking at the o-ring under the coolant cap. But I seen them vary on different kits.
Whipple does recommend bleeding it and they posted a video on how to do it.
I had to do it myself when I noticed that my coolant was low and topped it off.
I am in Essex County NJ and do feel that 9/10 Mustang owners acknowledge my GT. But it could be more so because I drive a convertible and when the top is down, it’s like an open invitation.

I bottom out in the front when I hit big dips thanks to the 285/35/20 tires. I wish I went smaller but I originally had them on the stock springs and it was fine.

As I have the same dilemma, 2019 GT with the new whipple 3.0 and want to add one as well as the bullet oil pump gear and sprocket. That’s another question MMR vs Boundary?
Have the same question for my 19 GT, as I am adding a Whipple and was going to get the Raxiom Vent Integrated Boost Gauge.
But if I already can do this mod, it will save me $$$.
