  1. What’s your Ford dealership charging for an oil change?

I've seen the setup where they have the oil in boxes as well. Kind of like this but with brand names.
  2. What’s your Ford dealership charging for an oil change?

The oil is pumped from a man container for the regular synthetic blend. There is a Oil pump gun right above. If you request fully synthetic they go to parts department and grab that oil to add it in. At least thats how it was at the place I worked at.
  3. What’s your Ford dealership charging for an oil change?

It's the same here... still, does not add up. It's less the cost of skilled labor performing a proper inspection. Skilled it's probably the keyword here...
  4. Mileage on a new car

    I know. I'm just being lazy 😂
  5. return-less fuel systems thoughts and ideas

Thanks. The Radium is a Bucket Hat assembly right? And they say the fuel is cycled by the regulator? Also; what are people using to regulate the second fuel pump according to demand so it doesn't run continuously? Thanks
  6. return-less fuel systems thoughts and ideas

What about running the 285s in it 🤔
  7. return-less fuel systems thoughts and ideas

From my own experience the radium is safe to about 875/900 rwhp on E85 with 2 274 pumps, others have made more but for my personal threshold for safety that's what I feel comfortable with, anyone planning over 850 I tell them to just go triple pump for safety. I'll also add that I dislike full...
  8. Talk me into a centrifugal

Ah good point about the pully! TY I was thinking about my conservative top end goals and not considering setting a pully size for good low RPM boost. Yes I'd get a fuel system if my goals require a fuel system. Chances are I'll be messing around with surge tanks anyway (fuel starvation...
  9. Talk me into a centrifugal

My question is: Are you planning on installing a fuel system? (Or KPM type of upgrade) so that you can run E85? IMHO, the centri setup will work great for what you are trying to achieve provided you get the benefit of the additional timing you can add with E, and the ability to pulley down...
  10. Beginner’s Buying Guide

Beginner’s Buying Guide Back when I started washing cars in the very early 2000’s, there was simply no avenue for learning how to detail other than buying and trying things for yourself. No internet, no YouTube, no forums. You either taught yourself or took a job in the detailing industry...
  11. Best return fuel system

Is this Terry or an associate? If my JMS Fuelmax shipment is canceled and or I don't pay an arm and a leg to return it, I will buy a VMP or equivalent Complete fuel return, dual pumps, a hobbs or equivalent to variable load the second pump so both pumps don't run at 100% all of the time when not...
  12. Best return fuel system

this is not a full fuel system. This is just to allow you to to run a second pump in your factory fuel hat. We would still need to add all of the feed lines, regulator filter, etc. You can use the factory line as a return hose if you want although most people upgrade to a 6 AM return line
  13. What gear oil do you use ? Additive or no?

Royal Purple 75-140 gear oil already has all the additives mixed in that you’d typically need, so you won’t have to worry about adding anything extra.
  14. I’m on E85 now. I have 25 miles to empty can I just add 93 now ?

I love the way my car runs on E85 but I don’t like the negative effects of it. Check out my last thread that shows more information on that from Fore Innovation. Also I’m at a 9.5 compression so even on 93 I’m still pretty safe. If I am on 93 and decide to race it I can add a bit of boostane.
  15. return-less fuel systems thoughts and ideas

Let me research the JMS Fuelmax EZ, if that is what your talking about?. Running your fuel pump(s) on demand would be more efficient and extend pump life.
  16. return-less fuel systems thoughts and ideas

I'm not a big fan either but mine has worked so far. If I could do it over again I would probably do the EZ BAP now that my friend has proven it works. RPM doesn't dictate fuel demand. The FPDM duty cycle does, which is why the EZ version works well. In order to add voltage it has to be in...
  17. return-less fuel systems thoughts and ideas

I heard some tuners don't like pedal demand switches. I would prefer one that takes its signal from a taco wire and vary in accordance with RPM. Also, with a BAP installed, is it the soul source of voltage to the pump or does it add voltage above 12vdc?
  18. return-less fuel systems thoughts and ideas

I can only tell you my status and plans…. As it stands, I’m running e85 on a Whipple with a 3.25 pulley, dw400, 22v bap, NO power wire upgrade and it works very well with fuel overhead and pcm protections in place. Should be around 850 rwhp, passes emissions, flex fuel, etc. if I decide to...
  19. How to determine switched or unswitched fuses in footwell fuse box

You are trying to power your diff pump, correct? Anything else you need to power? My car has a dashcam and diff pump that are both on switched circuits via add-a-fuse wires. So I have 3 add-a-fuse wires in there. I am redoing my dashcam soon, and can then post some pics, but that doesn't...
  20. Diff Fluid swap

I can't exactly do that because the vent tube popped off and I've leaked at least some fluid. And I don't have FORSCAN ability any more, I'm on a MOTEC M150 now. And shame on Ford. What a bunch of dumbasses. It doesn't take a PE stamp to say "Hey Bob, call the guys who make the rear diff...
