Before you celebrate if you can verify with the dealer you should, who will hopefully send you the VVR, I can't tell you how many times Tom at FP told me I was UC when I was UMH. It was infuriating.
Yeah here in Austin, Covert Hutto’s got Three 21 Super Snakes (3 out of 98) that they can’t sell even without ADM, guess the GT500 is what it is, we’ll see how quick it goes.
I appreciate that they paid another dealer for the car. But wow, non CFTP for 30 over?
I guess someone may pay it, but watching Covert here bring down that non CFTP HE from 50 to 40 to 30 to 17 over makes me think, you really gotta want a 500 and not have hope for a MY23 at that markup.
It’s this exactly, I don’t think we know the official percentages of total yet (if ever) but the HE works on the same “sub allocation” model as Painted Stripes and CFTP. Zone Reps will grant the “sub allocations” with similar witchcraft they use for CFTP and POTS today, I would imagine like the...
I'm worried/curious how many of those UMH HE's waited a whole year to be told there was a HE % constraint of total and their car won't be built. Hoping their dealer lets them make changes vs going to another order but this late in the game, I'm assuming the non HE order at their dealers took...
Commodity constraints are usually per order type (Stock vs Retail) and by Ford Dealer region, so it’s hit or miss at scale.
But after personally sitting at UMH for 5 months in Priority 01 and having gone UC the minute I had the handling package pulled, it’s worth it to check given 90% of the...
🤞 You fly through scheduling whenever they start September.
I finally caught up with the Ford Video Guy's latest video and he said it was told to dealers that all mustang scheduling for September would be 5750, and unlike August he didn't break out the GT500 scheduling numbers at all, so unsure...
This sucks, and if they do end up making a 23 (fingers crossed for you) I hope this dealer can deliver, because from my POV they sound full of it.
They would have been told at MY start how many GT500 allocations they had, and unless you had a constrained order type which contained:
Heritage...
What's the ramp code on your Window sticker?
If I was a betting man I'd say RH80 which is:
5140 Service Center Dr
San Antonio, TX 78218
If you're lucky it could be CA7L which IIRC is Hardy:
20909 Hardy Road
Houston, TX 77073
(I lived in Houston for years before moving to Austin, and...
Yup, and for anyone referencing my reply was specific to Houston Kid since I'm 90% sure his car is RH80 on the Sticker for the SA ramp here in TX. Union Pacific is West of the Mississippi and CSX should be east, but that's after they switch tracks from the CN who takes them from Flat Rock.
It's been said above, but to make sure it's clear.
Weeks July 4 & July 11 will have no cars built due to "shutdown" it's basically a 2 week vacation for the plant.
MY22 Mustangs will be produced until November 23rd 2022.
So as of this message, there are 11.5 weeks of scheduling left for MY22...
CSX isn't the same as CN (Canadian National)
Ford uses CN to get the cars from Flat Rock to Salem, IL where your railcar will flip to running on the Union Pacific railroad to San Antonio.
Once the car passes Salem, IL and is then on the UP, the VVR railcar number should let you track by phone...
You get them to show you an email from a Zone Rep/ Regional Manager that says "You have X Allocation"
But the normal way is that your order is placed into a Priority Code of 01-09, that is proof that not only do they have the allocation, but that it's applied to your order.
"Cleanup scheduling has finished for August, and Flat Rock begins it's two week summer shutdown next week, can you reach out to your contact and see if September is a possibility?"
If you're not in 01/02 yet, it's on the Rep, not the dealer. This is how I'd ask the dealer as I'm sure the...
No scheduling next week (probably aligns with Flat Rock’s 2 week summer shutdown that starts next week.)
It’s fair to assume August is closed, September awaits!
