So.. I've seen this mentioned a lot, but always get varying answers. Some say its fine, others say it could damage the engine. Would it be instant damage, or would it take many miles? I'm going to be throwing on LTHs on my car at a shop a family member works at, but they can't do some exhaust...
Hmm.. I actually just found this one.

I've got a few problems with it though.. one is the fact that its thin plastic. Second being that it isn't molded, its just flat. Not that big of a deal, but considering it costs...
Title says it all. I haven't seen any deletes that fold.. I regularly carry long rifles and such and can't have a seat that doesn't fold down, but also don't need the rear seats that only a legless midget toddler can fit in.
Anybody seen one?
They were out of any of the connector pipe options.. all I got was the 'headers only' option. They were shipped to another state.. I'll have to call my sister up and have her open the box to look at em.
Hey guys, I'm looking for a recommendation for some high flow cats. I'm installing a set of TS&P headers and a MagnaFlow Comp cat-back. Will be cutting off the x-pipe and having an h-pipe fabricated, along with the connecting pipes. Mainly these cats will be for appearance.. if some asshat cop...
Thanks for helping out!
I do have a question.. I'm incredibly disappointed with the rears. They sound like they have a high pass filter on them, and I like them to provide a bit more low end, letting the fronts handle the mids/highs. I recently put 2 12"s in the trunk, and while they provide...
Just got back from Americas Tire (free repair ftw.. 2 screws in it, only one punctured =/ ). On the sheet they stated 32PSI factory, but put em at 38-40 psi. Unless they pumped em up at my first oil change, they were 38-40 stock. This is on PP w/ staggered wheels (255,275/40/19).
26? That seems awfully low.. anything below about 38 I could feel while driving.
40/41 is what they get up to after warming up.. this is from the factory. Still on stock tires, about 8500 miles in.
Sorry for not reading the manual.. the manual is long and boring and I've only ever had them be useful when attempting to locate a fuse. =P
The other day I apparently got a small leak in my rear passenger tire. Air pressure dropped down to 28 PSI (12/13 less than usual). I got no alert at...
Thanks for all the replies.. I finally just said 'screw it, I don't like my neighbors anyways'. If people complain about the noise, I'll throw pool noodles in the exhaust during startup, or eliminate cold starts (is this safe? I can idle longer if needed...). I ended up getting a set of the...
This looks awesome. Can you give a bit more info about it? Will 345s fit without modification? What tires are those? Is there a drop? What offset/camber?
I'm looking at possibly doing Eibach Pros (the adjustable kit, 1-2"), and would like go to wider front and back without modification. I'm...
I looked at that system, but wasn't very happy with the sound. I'm trying to get away from the more raspy sound and get a nice deep rumble more like a muscle car. From what I've heard (though camera audio is always bad), the MBRP Race and the Magnaflow Competition come closest.
I was thinking that. The weight savings probably wouldn't be enough for me to worry about. Would the mufflers be enough to keep it fairly close to stock level volume if I were to cut out the rest and throw in an h-pipe or something? What are my best options for placement of cutouts?
Sorry...
Extremely loud is what I want.. I'm just trying to find a way to quiet it when in residential areas. When I park at my apartment, the back of the car is about 10 feet from the window of a neighbors bedroom.
I know I've seen videos of people with cutouts, so people mange to make them fit...
Hey all, I'm currently looking into replacing headers/exhaust, but need a bit of help. I'm looking for some obnoxiously loud exhaust (I bought this car to have fun.. and I'm going to have fun), but I currently live in an apartment. I would rather not piss off all my neighbors, so I was thinking...
Hello all.. sorry if these questions have been answered elsewhere.. I've been looking through all the info here but either haven't found concrete answers or haven't been able to wrap my head around it.
I just got a 17 GT Premium w/ Shaker (not Pro), and I'm looking to add two subs. In my 14 V6...
