Ps all: yesterday evening I sent these messages to the general manager, service manager, and service advisor. They did not respond at all today, I’m sure they’re having their lawyer send me a letter. I’ll be interested to see what it says, they can’t go for defamation since it’s all true and I...
haha , turns out I spelled it wrong, but this should still be close enough to annoy them. And I feel like a lot of people would misspell it when searching the same way I did
In short, it was stupid, I should have asked people on this forum where to take it. The other thing was that I got the ford performance pack CAI/TB/tune so I wanted to have it done by a ford dealer. Shoulda went to Pompano
I went there because I bought the car there, and I thought the showroom full of Roush and RTR stangs meant they knew their stuff. And I thought Pompano Ford mostly sold Lincoln’s to retirees ... Jeff did help me get all of this sorted out though
Hahahahaha ... my cease and desist letter from their lawyer will arrive even quicker then.
Oh and don’t worry! I’ll be posting the lawyer letter when I get it
I did reach out to Ford and outside of sending my concerns to the service manager they were no help at all.
yeah Greico left a bolt off the driveshaft and it bent the flange and damaged the coupler , and it turned the input shaft thing into an oval . I was just lucky it didn’t come off and come...
Haha appreciate you. I really doubt they’ll change their stance at this point, i emailed the General manager a link to their new website and just let him know I’m not going away, plan to be as annoying as I can possibly be until they reimburse me.
I do think I’ll be using steeda for future work, although Pompano Ford has some happy customers out there too. I know a guy who had them S/C his Stang and they did a great job.
Thanks man, I am closer to Pompano Ford. I actually specifically went there because they sell all the Roush and other custom stangs. I feel like they let an intern do the shifter install or something . I know everybody makes mistakes but I’ve given them plenty of opportunity to make it right
