  1. October 16 Track Attack

You'll have a blast! Watch out when crossing over the painted stripes at an angle. Neutral throttle.
  2. Full Send Saturday! Lol

Nice shot! Even getting some air on the front left -- quite a bit of lateral force on the outside tires.
  3. Fordpass no login screen

Just checked and it's still working properly on my Android.
  4. Handling package tires,

Lots of rubber contact area. Not so much tread compared to "normal" street tires.
  5. Mach 1 Track Attack Car Configuration

As one of the few folks who tested the restraint system (in one of the GTs, not a Mach 1), I'm happy to report their setup works amazingly well! I put their car into the wall nose-on at about 30 mph, across the grass after rotating a bit too much coming out of Roval turn 7. No bumps or bruises...
  6. Wax hood decal ?

I don't know about waxing, but there was no issue with ArmorShield IX ceramic coating. Didn't change the matte finish at all.
  7. Ceramic coating

On a budget or prefer DIY, Armor Shield IX works great. I'm at two years since I coated mine and it still beads like it was just coated. My 2011 Taurus is over four years since coating and needs to be redone, but it was good up through three years. And their customer service has been outstanding!
  8. Safe sealant products for Mach 1 matte stripe decal - please advise

I used ArmorShield IX from Avalon King on mine - hood stripes shiny and matte, plastic parts (shiny rear panel and matte lower panels and front splitter), and even my black aluminum louvers. Easy to apply and helps keep stuff from sticking to the car! I've used ArmorShield on two Mustangs and on...
  9. Hood pins (functional)

To be fair to Ford, while our Mach 1s are built for track, 150 is pushing the limit. Since my last comment about hood flutter at FPRS, I've not seen it in my own car until over 90 (only when needed to get away from drivers I felt were putting me at risk, of course.) All signs of flutter...
  10. Mach1 to Corvette to Mach1

    I love the Iconic silver!
  11. What would make you sell your Mach?

Nothing! My first car was a '69 Mach 1 and this one is a celebration of my car "heritage"! It's just plain fun to drive, even for errands, and it still gets attention since there are so few up here in New England (US).
  12. Used M1 inventory

Interesting, and disappointing. I've had mine for 25 months now and am still loving every time I drive it!
  13. Just picked up my Mach 1 this morning

Lifting rails - saves trying to find those damned slots in the pinch welds when you lift the car to change tires, etc.
  14. Chime in: “If I could redo Track Attack again I would…..”

The limited liability insurance caps your cost at $5K. Rough estimate on the damage was $15K. The insurance was a good deal.
  15. New 2023 Mach 1 Owner - Thoughts after ~1 Week of ownership

Congrats and I concur with your assessment. I've had mine for 25 months and chalked up 21K miles, including two trips to FPRS and one thru the Tail.
  16. SOLD! - Ford Performance Mach 1 t-shirt

Rats, I'd love it but I'm not an XL. My first car was a '69 Mach 1 and my latest (and possibly last gas-powered) is a 2021 Mach 1.
  17. Chime in: “If I could redo Track Attack again I would…..”

I went through in November after my Track Attack + Day 2, including my "bump" into the wall on the final track session. So glad I had an overnight to "dial back" from the track driving so I could enjoy the Tail. It wasn't busy at all and I was there shortly before 9 am, so the shops at the...
  18. Gurney Flap/Gurney

Given we know the previous owner did some mods (such as the fog lights), it's possible the HP spoiler was an add on rather than original equipment. You'll want to think carefully about the Gurney flap -- more drag/lower mileage at street speeds, and you if you're running on the track, you don't...
  19. Mach 1 fog light lay over covers

Fog light were added by a previous owner, so it's unlikely there are covers.
