Throw in a new Dodge Challenger and you will have a car that can hold a family of 5 fit into comfortably and ride on bumpy roads alot smoother. Not as fast as Mustang or Corvette because of that 4,100 lb weight but has a real trunk for a car of today.:headbang:

Without driving a C-7 yet, I prefer the C-6 Corvette. I don't know about this new 4 cylinder and 8 cylinder LT-1 engine. Is it a proven engine? The Dodge Challenger R/T with 5.7 engine with auto trans with MDS are blowing their timing chains off. Also the C-7 Corvette has a bad blind spot...

I am happy with the power on the current 5.0 420 HP 32 valve engine. With the 6 spd. manual and 3.73 rear end that car is a screamer at high RPM's.

I just hope the ride is alot more comfortable on bumpy roads vs. Solid Live Axle suspension of the past now.

Are the 2014 Mustang Gt 6 spd manual transmissions having problems still with this transmission?

I switched over a long time ago from factory Mercon to Redline manual trans fluid. It is easy as cutting cake now.:thumbsup:

So you are saying the Trac pac option won't contribute to a bumpy ride?

Considering it's alot more difficult to park and drive the Corvette I would prefer a higher profile car like the Mustang for the street. Then again there is the SRT Challenger heavy car with 392 with 392 rear end but very comfortable riding car.

I guess the only 2 main things I dislike is the rear end jumping up on large bumps and the bumpy ride. Cost to maintain and durability are the positive notes maybe LRA isn't that bad as they keep saying.

What does a new GT-500 realistically sell for nowadays? I would think still half the price of a Corvette ZR-1?

We have the worse roads in the worst condition and the worst traffic. I wonder if you don't get the trac pac option can you still get that 3.73 option by itself?

For a car to beat a bike that's is pretty fast car with those numbers. I am just wondering is it difficult to drive a GT-500 vs. the regular Mustang GT 5.0 as far as shifting goes etc.

This is true when I test drove a 2012 and 2013 Mustang GT the ride was fine but you could tell that you will feel the road. No problems with that it is just that we have the worst roads here. I test drove an SRT Challenger 6 spd. and that was alot smoother isolated the bumps a bit better...

It was a Kwasacki with 0-60 nearly the same time but less than 3.5. That's fast.

Is the live rear end axle cheaper to maintain and more durable than IRS?
