lol I had a guy make me a lowball offer like that on my ārestoredā 87 LX 5.0 with a huge explanation on why my car was only worth 10k vs the 17k I was asking for it. I laughed at him which pissed him off. He fired off some angry emails after. Sold it a few weeks later for 16k.
This has turned into a classic cars thread? I sold my ā91 E34 M5 several years ago and have regretted it ever since. Looking to buy another in the next year and keep it until I croak. Like everyone is saying, parts for old cars are insanely priced. You just canāt buy most of the parts anymore...
This reminds me of when I bought an absolute Unicorn 6 years ago. 2002 BMW M5 super rare Boston Green exterior on Caramel interior. Original owner bought it brand new while he was working in Germany and had it shipped back to the US when his contract was up in 2005. Ordered it loaded to the...
If you're worried about cost of ownership and reliability, I would not buy any high performance car 6+ years old without a warranty. If money is not the issue than I think it's a no brainer - GET THE 350. But Ford might be working on another 5.2 NA 6 speed Mustang as rumored. So if you wait it...
This thicker wheel does save you space. You get a much thicker wheel at the same diameter. Youād have a larger outer diameter if you used the same oem round wheel and increased its thickness to match this aftermarket version. 14.5ā top to bottom on both the oem wheel and this aftermarket flat...
This little baby right here is one of the best cordless impacts I've ever used. I've used it to replace all kinds of control arms, suspension parts, and recently shocks & struts on my daily beater Honda Accord. It claims to have 550ft/lbs of "nut busting" torque. I haven't had any issues with...
Dump out whatās in your compressor when you remove it into a measuring cup. Put that much of new oil into your new compressor. Take sure your new compressor is empty before you do this. You donāt want to overfill the system.
Agreed. I donāt think the wheels were sitting flush against the spacer or the spacer wasnāt flush against the rotor. The load was obviously on top of the lip due to improper fitment.
Are the hood decals matte black? I thought it was mineral gray on gloss black with orange/red/white outer trim line?
Iām definitely just going to paint them orange. What color are the calipers - grabber orange?
Anyone here have pics of a black or dark matter gray Mach 1 with the orange decals and calipers instead of red? I'm seriously considering switching it up on my DMG Mach 1 and going with orange calipers and the orange accent decals like what comes on the FJG package. I saw a black M1 done this...
Clamping force is perpendicular to the hub face. If there is anything not allowing for the wheel to spacer & or spacer to rotor to sit unobstructed against each other you could cause the spacer to fail. The spacer hubcentric lip could be too long or something between the wheel or spacer to rotor...
Wiring issues can cause all kinds of weird electrical problems, including weird idling. Sounds like you definitely have some weird wiring issues where a ground is crossed with a low voltage signal wire or something. Start at your RTR aftermarket grill. If you can disconnect the light then see...
Did you have it torqued properly? When properly torqued, the force of the wheel should be at the rear face where the wheel meets the rotor face or spacer face in this instance. For whatever reason, force appeared to be downward on the spacer lip. You're not torqued properly, using the wrong lug...
