I realize what changes were made the 2.3 in the Focus RS and I know Ford did it to differentiate it from the EB Mustang and to remain above the competition. I think it's awesome. The AWD system in this thing is able to transmit a majority of the torque to the rear wheels at any given time...

Wow that was a pretty steady pull. Slowed down a little after 120 but still a steady pull. Get an Intercooler and lets see a better pull.

Also I was weighing heavily between the Mustang, Focus ST and a Fiesta ST. And I'm probably not the only one that cross shopped the Mustang with those two cars. Yes, they may be econoboxes, but they were built to be decent hot hatches, and they certainly live up to that. Sent from my iPhone...

It also should be noted that the AWD system is a very unique one, which is able to transfer a large majority of the torque to the back wheels. Oh, and it comes standard with Brembo's. Can't find either of those things on a Focus of Fiesta ST. The RS was literally built for Rallying. The ST...

While the platform is the same, the drivetrain is completely different, as is the suspension, brakes and maybe even some slight chassis reinforcement. You can't find any of that in an ST. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
