Give Josh a call you might be surprised. I was. Mine will be in next week
  5. Camber plates + camber bolts = tire clearance?

There is a thread on here were 2 guys did a lot of fitment testing and were able to get the fit with just a little poke on stock style strut (not coil overs) They have 19x11 +50 with 20mm spacers. at -2.8 camber there is just a little poke. To directly answer your question, yes it will work...

Glad to hear it, I'm waiting to order mine to see if a fat man in a red suit brings me one. If its not much trouble can you share a pic of the cracked area?

  8. Aggressive Fitment Thread

For sure, I was dead set on doing 11s ans 11.5s to run the same sizes, however they look good in these pics. Is the front tire squeezed more than the rear or are they the same?
  9. Aggressive Fitment Thread

THat looks really good. Those tires aren't as squeezed on the wheels as much as I would have expected.
  10. wildcatgoal's Build - 2016 DIB GT PP

From my perspective there is ever so slightly a bit of poke on the front ( I like how it looks) How does the rear compare? Do you happen to have a shot of the rear fitment looking forward?
  11. wildcatgoal's Build - 2016 DIB GT PP

Until recently the 14mms were on back order from arp because they were making them for Ford Performance. Guys that didn't want to pay the inflated FP price were getting 1/2" studs
  12. wildcatgoal's Build - 2016 DIB GT PP

yeah we used those back in my wrench turning days and once a week the shop foreman would do a spot check to make sure they were accurate. Thats a really good price on those too. In other news thanks for documenting the build. You've helped me decide on suspension. I am calling to order my...
  13. wildcatgoal's Build - 2016 DIB GT PP

Yes good point. A lot of assumptions ATM. Per the same chart 125 is the max on a 1/2" so if you cut that by 10% 105 is a safe number
  14. wildcatgoal's Build - 2016 DIB GT PP

Our prior discussion as well as one I had with an engineer buddy of mine about nuts and bolts in general are what prompted me to ask him. I did look on ARPs site and the generic max for a 14mm bolt/stud of this tensile strength is 184. IIRC the maximum torque to apply to wheel studs is...
  15. wildcatgoal's Build - 2016 DIB GT PP

With the the longer studs and spacers do you torque your wheels to a different spec than the OE studs? The wheels I want come in the same size and offset as what you have as well as a GT350 spec. Which would be the same as if you ran a 25 mm spacer. In general I'd like to avoid the spacer...
  16. Steeda's Race Car Development - Build Thread

Is there any data that would let me compare downforce vs drag on the Steeda Race wing vs the APR wing. I don't doubt Steeda put a lot of effort into the race wing, but I do like to make a comparison when making a purchase as I only want to do it once. Thanks in advance

New S550 owner checking in I have had my 17 PP GT for a few weeks now. I've been lurking around and finally joined the forum yesterday. I bought my car to serve double duty as my DD as well as my track toy at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit where I am a driving instructor. I've already...
