Really shouldn't need a new tune due to elevation, as the car should compensate on its own. The newer cars like these measure air pressure thus compensate for the difference in altitude. Lucky for you, you are boosted! :headbang: I lose a lot of power here at elevation!
But if you want...
You've intrigued me! I'm checking the wire diagrams now to see what all this goes to. I have the full shop manual :)
So, I scoured through the diagrams, and it appears that this wire is the main speed input for the whole car. It is going to the PCM, and I don't see anywhere that the speed...
This was discussed in another thread. All 2015-2016 convertibles only had one-touch down, but not up. No one knows why, but must have had some calibration issues at Ford and they just got lazy. They apparently fixed whatever issues for 2017 as all 2017s have both one-touch down and up. Now if I...
Well soon to be Welcome to Colorado! What side of town will you be? I'm down in the springs but we've stored our tailgate bus in a couple of lots in Denver area. There's a nice place that offers indoor storage that we used called Dove Valley Storage, and I've heard good things about Broncos...
Well in case anyone else is curious....I found how to remove the HUD module in the service manual (and I feel dumb because it is the easiest part to remove ever). You just pry up on it on top of the dash with a non-marring tool (I used the plastic trim tools I have) and it pops right off! Remove...
Thanks for the education on that! Yeah I agree finding a way to tap the LEDs directly would be much easier. I haven't dug into it yet to see but I have a feeling getting to the HUD module is going to be a PITA...all up in the dash like that. I'll do some more research and give it a shot! I may...
Anyone out there know of a good way to hack into the CANBUS to be able to activate the LED array that is used for the HUD on ACC cars? I have access to wiring diagrams and once it says it is CAN controlled it is above my head!
Basically, what I'd like to do is use the HUD for my hardwired...
I got that exact one from Amazon too, and actually used it on my MacBook with success. Of course, since FORScan isn't Mac-approved, I had used it on my Windows 10 partition (you can do this with Bootcamp, or VirtualBox is what I used). But yeah if you have access to a Windows Laptop it should...
I can confirm that this one works with Forscan:

I'm in the Springs which usually is a little colder than Denver. The nice thing is though I don't drive my Mustang in the snow or bad weather, it is still truly a year-round car because of the 300 days of sunshine we get! I will drive several days a month from Nov-Mar easy even with summer tires...
Wow I just noticed this on mine today. I was in the trunk doing some work on a new trunk light. It is super faint but in a quiet garage I could just barely hear it. I then popped my head in the car (my top was down) and noticed it is doing it on all the speakers.
I thought maybe it does this...
What happened to the March timeline? I see on your site that it now says Expected in June. :eyebulge: Was hoping to get this in time for car show season
Also, I don't think I'm getting any e-mail updates at all for my order, but my Paypal payment did go through fine...just FYI. Would...
Yeah I'm hoping it is possible. Little worried though with the different button arrangements. I'd think once you get the clock spring figured out, you could just wire it up directly with a relay (should just be a positive and negative wire to the wheel for the heat). Then you could do some sort...
