Then you won't risk engine damage by using Sport+ or Track mode? By the way I'm asking here because many of you live this stuff and on other Forums they actually have guys saying a Tune only is active in normal and will cause engine damage if another mode is activated.

Ford Service shops don't normally employ Welders. That's something that gets subcontracted. Even if the SM took the car in for warranty it would still be taken out to a welder or muffler shop for the repair. That is unless you demanded a new unit, then it would be a part swap and done in house.

BMR CB006 Sorry to hear about your problem. I did the BMR brace last year in my driveway with regular tools. In my case there was no difficulty in removing the bolts. No locktite found. My car was relatively new. I suggest you try a penetrating spray and let it set for a day. Good luck.

GO with the BMR TCA045s I did and there is no increase in NVH and there is no maintenance required like the Delrin models need. I did the change in my driveway. Easy Peasey.
