  1. Has Ford improved A/C reliability in the new Mustangs?

Boy - it's a shame that Ford seems to have so much trouble with the A/C unit. In 2017, that's inexcusable. Really - my wife's 2007 GC SRT8 blows cold like crazy for over 120K miles. My E85 burning LSX454 Vette blows cold for days. Why can't Ford figure this out?
  2. Do the newest Coyotes have oil consumption issues?

Yeah - I sure have. I just always look at the 5w-20 on the oil cap and submit. But what the hell, I gotten my money's worth out of this car, so I'll try 5-30 next oil change. Good idea.
  3. Do the newest Coyotes have oil consumption issues?

It seems new motors normally burn a bit until things settle in.
  4. Do the newest Coyotes have oil consumption issues?

Thanks to all who responded - this is reassuring.
  5. Has Ford improved A/C reliability in the new Mustangs?

First time I think was about 40K - just passed the warranty:headbonk:
  6. Do the newest Coyotes have oil consumption issues?

I think I broke mine in properly - I bought it new with 4 miles on the odo and followed the owner's manual recommendations to a T. That said, on another forum oil consumption was a frequent complaint on early Coyotes (11-12) - hopefully that's not the case with new Coyotes (15-17). The...
  7. Do the newest Coyotes have oil consumption issues?

Yeah - it's pretty bad, but its consumed oil like this since I changed out the factory fill a little after 5K miles. No external leak is apparent. I know a lot of people complained about this with the early Coyotes - I'm interested in what the people with new (like 15-17) 5.0s are...
  8. Do the newest Coyotes have oil consumption issues?

Hi All. This is my second post. My first was about A/C unreliability in my 2011 GT. Again, this is a DD with 152K on the clock. My car consumes oil like crazy - it has since I switched over to Mobil 1 5-20 when it had about 5K on the clock. The motor seems to work fine - it just likes...
  9. Has Ford improved A/C reliability in the new Mustangs?

Hi All. I just joined this forum because I am contemplating purchasing a 2018 GT to replace my current 2011 GT with 152,000 miles and I'm looking for information and advice. My A/C has gone out 5 times with this car. It's crazy. The compressor has bit the dust so many times it's ridiculous...
