I made the switch too and I don't regret it at all. The ride and the "feel" is just a bit more aggressive, but not too bad. It's just one of the things that makes it unique.
Think of it like the two twin sisters. And you know one of them is just a little more "slutty" than the other...
I love Steeda products and this one works exactly as described by Steeda. However; having said that, not one time is there mention of reduced tramlining in the discription for this part on the Steeda website. Have you ever stopped to wonder why?
I put about 400 highway miles on my car a few weeks ago down in FL. Even with the Steeda G-Trac brace, this is NOT a car that you can casually drive. It will flat out scare the crap out of you with sudden darting left or right (Tramlining). It just adds to the character of the car.
^^^ This!
This is an extremely easy task. It seemed to take longer for me to get the car on the lift than it did to install the brace using the spacers. I also used a flat head screw driver and my finger to bend the tabs back and forth until they broke off.
I use this jack from Northern Tool. I think its just a little more heavy duty than the one listed above. The only draw back is that its HEAVY as hell. I have used this jack for years and I have zero complaints.

Poor Guy, I've never had an issue lifting the car where Ford tells you to lift it without any goofing aftermarket pads. I guess its just the GA Redneck in me that says using sacrificial 2x4 blocks between my lift and the pinch weld is fine. ;)
To be perfectly honest... This mess right here is why I choose to not come here on a daily basis anymore. Just look at yourselves... I don't owe anyone a full typed report of what happened. Maybe I'm lazy, maybe I'd rather do it over a few drinks in a bar with select people, but some of...
The oil fire caused a fuel line to rupture between the fuel filter and tank. The fuel is the reason the fire looked so massive in the pic / video I posted. The only thing I've been "guilty" of is being very vague about the whole process. I've got plenty of pics of the burnt chassis and the...
You have my phone number. Feel free to call me. I'm not sure why you seem to have an attitude or an agenda about this. Please realize that the local dealer made the initial inspection (outlined above). Then the regional guy came to look at it. Then the factory engineer came to look at it...
The dealer tech found the problem with me standing there. There wasn't any oil showing on the dipstick so they added 5 quarts of oil to the engine. A quick visual inspection didn't reveal the issue right off, so the tech (with the help of another tech) attempted the turn the motor over via the...
It is my understanding that my R is not part of the current recall. However, it pretty much parked until warmer weather.
Edit: Very Lucky and Very Blessed.
